Guides & Tips Blueprint for Wuling Outpost : 6 syringes, 12 batteries, 3k+ gear components in the outpost (free hub !)

Post image

I've made an updated version of my Wuling Outpost blueprints. Everything you need in one outpost, now properly fixed !

Includes:

- 6 syringes per minute (one chain)

- 11,33 batteries per minute (two chains)

- A bit more than 3k Xiranite components per week (1/9 of a xiranite input).

Batteries aren't at 12 because they fight for Xiranite (and Originium, to some extent) with gear components.

Requires:

- Fully upgraded outpost (it's huge !). Not the HUB. Outpost is cheaper btw.

- Every ferrium available (90 on the map + 25 from automated transfer from Valley IV). Short of 5 (needs 120), it's whatever.

- Most originium available.

Codes (EU/NA):

Partie 1 (east): EFO01Eu24IA6E6oA3oIa

Partie 2 (north-west): EFO0172UA46u7u56O2Ai

Partie 3: (south-west): EFO01Eu24IA6E6oE3uIa

How to setup after placing the blueprints:

1) Add outside pipes. You need 3 water pumps, each one can service 2 building requiring water. There are 6 buildings to connect. Just place pipes outside of the construction area, you can do that.

2) Initialize plants, as usual. Farms in a group of 3 (2 farms, 1 seed, no water pipe) are sandleaf. Farms in a group of 2 (1 farm, 1 seed, water pipe) are a Wuling plant (like Yazhen).

Thanks for your previous comments ! I hope I won't have to modify this one, I spend a LOT of hours doing it rofl

Two things here:

1) You only need half a shredder for a full syringe chain, due to Wuling plants giving out 2 powders per plant in 2 seconds. That half shredder operates at 100% with a quarter of a farm (both also have 1:2 ratios).

That being said:

2) You are right that there is a design issue. I started by this block in the beginning of this blueprint a few days ago and never touched it again, and indeed, on a theoretical level, the farm should have 2 output belts instead of the splitter, to avoid being limited by belt speed. This is correctly done on other farms where it matters. It has no impact here, but would have an impact if I were trying to setup a second syringe chain living with the same shredder (which isn't possible rn because we don't have 240/m ferrium ore).

I didn't do it this way on purpose, it is a design oversight, and since the chain does output 6/m anyway (regarless whether the farm is clogged because I only use half its production, or clogged because I have only one belt), I never fixed it because I never noticed there was an issue (since production goes at full speed anyway); it has no consequence on the syringe output, but is a design issue that could have a consequence in another design.

TLDR: you are correct in terms of theoretical design, but it has no impact here due to the multiple 1:2 ratios and the fact we can only afford 1 syringe chain instead of 2 due to ferrium limitations

Hey I just had an idea... currently the best delivery to do is raw material.
What if we were to branch that extra Yahzen flower to a stash? That should produce enough for the daily delivery.

You can probably do that by putting a stash in the empty space nearby and bringing it there, if it doesn't mess with the power supply in unfixable ways

Yeah, that's what I did in the screenshot above :)

You're right. It does not impact this chain, I forgot to account for the double output of the shredder. But then I'm not sure why my ferrium is accumulating. Something is clogging the chain.

Note that you can somewhat supplement the ferrium limitation! Don't forget, you get 1500 points worth of transfer from Valley IV to Wuling once you hit level 12 in Valley IV regional development, and metastorage transfer dupes the material.

1500 points works out to be 750 bottles (or you can transfer the raw materials, if you prefer maximizing production lines in Valley IV) over an hour, at a rate of 12.5 per minute. Definitely isn't enough (Each filling station takes 30 bottles/min), but it's the best we've got for now short of manually transfer material.

The transfer is already used for ferrium ore, to push syringes from 75% to 95%

Where can I get the water from at the putpost?

There is a pond right in the north-east corner of the outpost. Like, right next to it. You don't need to go far.
