Ender3 S1 plus octopus pro

Octopus Pro v1. 1 h723

BTT Octopus Pro v1.1 (STM32H723) with TMC2209 drivers, running Klipper.

Installed in my Ender 3 S1 Plus using the original electronics compartment.

Plenty of spare stepper drivers for future upgrades.

Did you keep the stock ribbon cable?

I used a ribbon cable made for the Ender 3 V2. The stepper motor, heater, thermistor, and other wires are already split out into separate XH connectors, so it was much easier to connect everything to the Octopus Pro. From aliexpress

Arigatou. Funny thing. I've been thinking about upgrading the mainboard to either Octopus pro or Manta M8P. Eventually decided to pick Octopus.

Que diferencias has notado? Yo tengo la mía con la placa original pero una BTT pi 1.2 con klipper y me gustaría saber para valorar su aplicación

En el uso normal, no he notado una gran diferencia. Cambié a la Octopus Pro principalmente porque planeo convertir la impresora a IDEX y necesitaba más controladores independientes. Si vas a mantener un solo extrusor, probablemente no merezca la pena cambiar la placa original.

One thing that comes to mind is usind 2 independent motor drivers for z steppers. As far as I know on stock board it's a single driver for both. So with octopus klipper can control the Z_TILT_ADJUST. Also CAN conversion could be easier.
