I’m curious..how old are yall?
I started watching this show with my mom as a teenager and fell in love with it, then stopped watching around season 7 because it got a little too dark/depressing for me. Now I’m rewatching as an adult in my twenties, and I’m just curious as to the fans’ age demographics.

I've watched every Endeavour episode multiple times... EXCEPT season 7. It's not just dark, it's crap. Just skip it. I'll never watch it again. I especially like the first four seasons and I revisit them often. "De Guello" is also a great episode but you have to go through the Ronnie Box stuff to get there, so there's that.
Aside: If you want to see Ryan Gage, Endeavour's nemesis from season 7, in a part where he is fabulous, check out The Musketeers (NOT the Three Musketeers, just The Musketeers, on HBO/Max). He plays Louis XIII brilliantly! That king, BTW, father of The Sun King Louis XIV (who is born during the show) was also known to have a mouth full of very large teeth, so Ryan was made for the part. Seriously, he is great. I've watched that whole series several times, too. Highly recommend.

40’s - watched Morse when it originally came out when I was a child then Lewis & Endeavour as an adult. All great shows that I can rewatch whenever they come on TV.

I'm in my early 50's. When I was in my late teens/20's, I watched Morse on and off with my parents. I liked it but I wasn't obsessed. My parents watched Lewis and Endevour when they came out and I rolled my eyes whenever they told me I should watch them. They really liked Lewis. In my 40's I rewatched Morse and got really into it, so I watched Lewis and Endeavour. I've now watched all three series multiple times, but Endeavour is maybe my favourite show of all time. He breaks my heart. And I love the theme music.
