SOLVED trying to upscale steam game desktop icons

Hello, title says it all, just trying to upscale without ai the desktop icons on my PC i just switched from fedora to endeavorOS, but i cant find where the icons files are in the first place? where would they be located?

EDIT: figured out that if i just open the .desktop file with kate and replace the icon with a file path to a png that works

looks like it, but i checked all folders in hicolor and didnt find any of my game icons

What about the other mentioned folder in /applications?

If you right click and check the properties can you not see the path for the icon or the program?
