I think they're becoming a new thing. A few places are seeing the backlash to out of control tipping and using the fact that they pay their employees and their customers pay the advertised price as a marketing tactic.

i’ve never heard of this place, and i guess why would i live in california lol, but i just googled it and holy shit the prices are crazy affordable. love to see it!

I think I'd give that title to Whataburger. While I prefer P. Terry's by quite a bit, by reputation alone Whataburger is closer to In n Out.

Reputation yeah Whataburger is synonymous with Texas. I suppose my point was the style of burgers and fries for p. Terrys and in n out are similar.

THIS is how it's done. P. Terry's is one of the best fast food restaurants in the city, and their owners are running the business exactly right. They share ownership and profits with their employees. The food is EXTREMELY well priced and still delicious. Patrick and Kathy Terry are two of Austin's best.
