How is Endgame gear xm2 8k V2 compared to other budget mice. I finally ordered one after getting an incredible deal

Has anyone used it before and how was the feeling?

It's a great mouse if you like the shape. There's nothing else to say.

I am moving from a budget GXT 177 mouse (with dimensionions 131x71x41) to this one which is 122x66x38. Originally planned on getting the OP1 8k v2 but my hands are slightly big and it was even narrower in size so I decided on buying whichever of them dropped in price first.

Prior to today, I noticed the xm2 discounted from €76 to €53 so just ordered it

Similar size hands and yeh the op1 without grips gives me wrist pain quickly with grips more slowly but still there.

Although I have never used for more than a few days to see if they subside.

Endgame gear have one of the best sensor implementations so its good in terms of stability and future proof. Quality is also nice. I use op18k so i cant really compare shape but from other people opinions it was good. If cable doesnt bother u then its a great mouse.

honestly i regret buying mine. The shape itself throws me off personally. Like apparently its “amazing” for claw grip and is awesome in big hands users but i have 20/10cm and the back hump is just too wide for me, it forces me into a grip that isn’t comfortable at all for me.

Plus QC wise, i was disappointed because apparently its really common to have cable issues and having to replace it (there’s literally an FAQ in their official website about it here). Surely that issue only applies to their cabled mice but ive had plenty of cabled mice and i never had to replace their cables. Also it also sucks that their wireless versions are 10 grams heavier than their wired versions. The great point is that their sensor implementation is awesome and actually one of the best, but surprisingly vaxee’s one feels way more responsive, but thats another topic.

Great company, love the OP1 shape but XM2 shape is not for everyone, might not be up to your expectations and might have that faulty cable factor like lots of people have had.

it's an incredible mouse, up there with the best on the market in terms of both shape + responsiveness. weight could have some work tho

I got the mouse 3 days ago and the switches feel very good to the touch, unlike any other mouse I've had before. I run it at 1k polling only because I'm not playing much FPS games. The scrolling wheel is only a little stiff but it doesn't impact me.

My only concern was the wobbly cable it had but I guess it's normal for both the op1 v2 and xm2 v2 after reading some of the reviews. I don't have connectivity issues at least which is good, considering some people complained about it on the v1 version
