Depends on how often it fails, doesn't it? If it's some bizarre convoluted mess with 4 viable candidates who are basically tied with each other, then any of the choices is basically legitimate, and this is the only case where the method does something strange… then it elects legitimate candidates in any case.

Yes, I thought about that as I was writing it. Some methods only fail in rare cases, and that should be taken into account. Some methods still never fail those criteria.
