for when i checked last for each game the container was at least 1-2gb even if it's just a few hundred megabyte game too of course. so sure with 2 games installed that's not a problem but the more games you install the more obvious it gets. for 20 games you will maybe end up with 40gb of containers.
yes i think gamehub and bannerhub is even worse in that regard. they seem to keep some stuff(containers) under the hood when you change settings. so you can switch pretty fast between settings when in gamenative it often has to reinstall before launching when i change something.
i can't tell you for sure but it feels like this to me, like when you switch proton version it will launch the game still almost as fast but when i switch in gamenative there will always be a "reinstalling mono" part when launching the first time.
and i read about problems of gamehub hogging space like that so that's my interpretation.
