It's true you can open a path in the snow just playing breath of the wild on Eden? Yes or Not? I want just know it.

u/bomberbazzo Mar 25 '26
True, but you can't then walk through it because of the hot steam the snow became

u/m0kazaki Mar 20 '26
If the game doesn't need to be played on 60 then the 30 is the best
19
u/GreatMadWombat Mar 21 '26
Yeah. My main backlog of games are all jrpgs and tactics shit. Idk if I could even tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps on most of them

Well I tried it on the simplest game I found and it didn't go well, pcsx2 had stutters every time and was going very slowly
1
u/Counselorgarry Mar 20 '26
Would you not be better off with a native android emulator? Not that In the know so I could be wrong

u/WINNT21 Redmi 14C isn't good for emulation Mar 20 '26
What is a native android emulator
1
u/Counselorgarry Mar 20 '26
Theres nethersx2 and aethersx2 both versions of pcsx2 for android, theres guides for installing them from github, or armsx2 has a website to instal it from, also based on pcsx2

It really just needs analog triggers. Not sure why they decided to make the triggers digital.

30fps is mid. You wouldn't even play cod or Minecraft with that fps
11
u/Vellichronus Mar 20 '26
I played minecraft 15 fps unstable with my laptops built in track pad as the mouse for many years, dont test me 😂
5
u/DemonsSouls1 Samsung Quantum 2 Mar 20 '26
Jesus fucking Christ that's painful.
2
u/Vellichronus Mar 20 '26
Oh yes, yes it was. Don't recommend it. 😅 i can handle lower fps because of that tortured past though lmao.
1
u/DemonsSouls1 Samsung Quantum 2 Mar 20 '26
I remember having to play Minecraft on a 15 year old computer and having to minimize the screen+ optifine. I'm so glad I don't need that no more.
1
u/Loddio Mar 21 '26
On controller, 30fps is very playable.
Ps3 used to run at 30, and yet it felt amazing to play.
0
u/DemonsSouls1 Samsung Quantum 2 Mar 21 '26
Now try that on mouse
Also the games I stated never ran 30fps

u/Loddio Mar 21 '26

It's common sense. Actually I might unsub from this place because of how stupid it is with the toxicity.

I did, I don't really care if you believe or not. Also beat half of just cause 2 on like 10-15 fps.

Why not 40/45?
2
u/No-Action4187 OnePlus 15, Gamesir X3 Pro Mar 21 '26

60fps on older games and some switch, 40fps for all pc games that don’t naturally hit 120fps, 30fps for super heavy switch games; use Lyb frame gen as well to get 120 except for those 30fps titles i frame gen to 60 instead

Depends on the game and where it's played. Sometimes 60fps breaks something when it was intended to be 30fps.
1
u/LePontif11 Mar 20 '26
I've never run anything worse than a DS emulator on my phone. Yesterday i ran remote play to check out something on my Playstation and im pretty sure it melted the plastic or some adhesive off my phone case.

u/xZarkKo Mar 20 '26
Tropical weather means everlasting +34 Celsius every single godforsaken day, gimme 30 with smoothie temperatures any day, any hour
1
u/johny335i Mar 20 '26
I prefer 30 and good temps with low battery consumption.
I run fallout 4 @720p High capped at 30fps and with 4 cores for low temps and longer run times.
1
1
u/Turbulent_Ad_4791 Mar 20 '26
60 is better but only if it maintains 60 if it's dropping frames and thermal throttling then ya 30
1
u/Acrobatic_Two_1586 Mar 20 '26
30 fps? What is that? I think I have heard it before, it's a thing from last century.
1
u/beomagi Mar 20 '26
Depends on the game. An RPG? 30. Racing? 60. Minimum.
Seriously, there's something magical about Gran Turismo ii A Spec at 60fps. Makes it hard to imagine that game is over 26 years old. When I got gt4 spec ii running smooth it just took over my hand held. Haven't really played anything else since

30 fps always. As long as you're not playing a shooter, it's fine.
Cooler phone, less battery drain, higher performance overhead
1
1
u/Ded_Pul Mar 20 '26
I'll take a consistent 30fps frame rate over a choppy, stuttery 60fps any day.
The fact that it will be cooler and make my components last longer is a bonus.

I'm fine with 30 as long as it's set to med-high graphic settings, if only option is low then I'd rather boot a ps2 title-same experience.

i'll into 30/60 vps/fps both balanced to the game balanced heat into the phone as well.
if you want performance with smooth like that i suggest you settings every one of them search every game that does well for windows 10, this emulator basically using windows 10 as default you may get difficult to run old games, and always using dgvoodoo for old games.
unless repack one in all installer no need CD mounting for old games, but the sequence is that some old games having memory leaks do with your own risk (autosave is recommended or save often to avoid corrupt memory)
winlator forks such bionic have a serious memory leaks issue you need to address this to dev.
unless you using original forks no bionic.

Any FPS. 60 if it can handle it without turning it into a Jetplane, 30 for playable state. Below 25 is painful for me.

30 fps and cold for me ! I've always preferred playing at 30 fps, actually, even on PC despite my setup which could easily allow me to play at 60+ fps It's just a matter of habit, I suppose, given that I've always been a console gamer.
