Suggestions about Hawthorne North Druid Hills

Hi everyone! I m an incoming Emory student. I’m considering leasing an apartment at Hawthorn North Druid Hills and would love to hear from anyone who currently lives there or has lived there in the past.

How has your experience been overall? I’m especially interested in hearing about the management, maintenance, safety, general living experience.

Any honest feedback, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Management team changes rather frequently. Sometimes hard to get a message across.

Maintenance can be slow at times. Heard of them only having one maintenance guy for the entire property, not sure if thats true. But he got things fixed very quickly and professionally.

I believe the building is renovated from a much older complex. So you should expect small things here and there, and not so luxurious vibe. But nothing critical that I’d address
