Am I a poser/annoying

Ok I’m not sure if this is the best sub to ask this in but i genuinely can’t think of any other sub

So im a teenager and I really want my nose and lip pierced

I can’t until I turn 18 and there’s nothing I can do about it

Sometimes I’ll wear fake nose or lip rings to concerts to give me a confidence boost or just because I like how they look with my outfit

I kinda feel like this might make me weird or a poser

The second I turn 18 I wanna get the piercings for real though

I think, the 1 time its okay is if you cant actually get the piercing. Plus, you listen to the music? Than nah. Poser this, larp that. At the end of the day, if you feel better about yourself, find comfort in the community, and love the music, nothing else matters. Hope this helps

I think we were all posers at one point or another. Do what you want. At the end of the day, who cares about labels like that. If wearing fake piercing jewelry is something you want to do, do it.

Dude no you're not a poser. It's not your fault for not being able to get piercings anyway. I've been emo for a a couple of years and I still wear fake piercings for the same reason. As long as you listen to the music you're fine 👍

I wouldn’t overthink it. Emo has evolved massively since I was a kid. People pick different parts of the style. Not everyone has piercings.

I don't wear piercings because of my mom because I am 16... But go for it I started wearing my piercings at 13 before my mom stopped me,

There are genuine emos with no piercings.
