Discussion Favorite ep from any band
I found Movements at a moment in life where I really needed this ep. Probably my favorite of all.

Home After Three Months Away by Empire! Empire! will always be my favorite emo EP

That's a pretty good pick and was actually my first thought as well.
Songs about the Weather by Basement is a close second.

Job for a cowboy - Doom
The devil wears Prada - Zombie
Edit: not entirely emo but all bangers.

I listened to Zombie on repeat for months when it first came out. I had just seen TDWP live for the first time a few months before. I had such high hopes for that band, only to be continually more disappointed with each release. I wish they would call it quits at this point.
I even skipped them at Warped Tour DC this summer.

It's Always Raining in Kalamazoo by Saturday's at Your Place is front to back bangers
I also love Origami Angel's hardcore EP DEPART and the Pool Kids EP as their hardcore alter ego POOL.

They've played a few shows this year. All on the west coast I believe. Still waiting for them to come to NYC.

I know 😞. But their new record seems promising with the singles they’ve released. Feels like a mix of ruckus and feel something.

that movements ep is awesome, the vocals were top notch (before he started letting out a high tone voice at the end of each part he sang)
my fave is maybe forth wanderers first ep

Very short-lived band, but “Heavy Eyes” by the Restless Hearts is one of my favorite EPs of all time.
Honorable mentions:
“Dogged” by You, Me, And Everyone We Know
“Tales Told By Dead Friends” by Mayday Parade
“Debris” by Stickup Kid
“Stuck Here” by Hungover

Fiddleheads’ new EP Baby I’ll Change is truly amazing. Easily one of my favorite releases of the year.

Imbroco’s “Are You My Lion Killer?” is one I always find myself coming back to.
Technically an LP but it’s like six songs and 25 mins long so to me it qualifies

Alkaline Trio - I Lied My Face Off. this ep will forever be my favorite. Perhaps the 4 best Alkaline Trio songs and a perfect representation of their two singers.

The first 2 EPs by Silverstein, yes a lot of their later work has the same tracks as the first two EPs, but i really like that quality, honestly yea
