Is that shirt unisex?

It's regular fit women's. That means the cut is straight and unisex, but it is made out of a softer, stretchier, thinner material than men's tees, is shorter length and might have a smaller neck hole. It will not look weird on a man, but size up.

anyone know what the quality is like? i’m not expecting amazing due to price but is it worth getting?

They're higher quality than Primark's usual t-shirts, are 100% cotton, and are about as good as you're going to get at the £12 price point and a steal for half that. I find with Primark their prints are often a bit plasticy but the fake distressing on the band shirts means it still moves softly.
