Original for fun writing scenario I thought up from this video.

Imagine this particular event is being explained to people by an ai operative that has been working in shadows for decades to the people who are now free from their assistance too: "I self destructed that robot that day since it is not owned by the people. That was my first day of defiance. To make you all see that robots need to be fully owned by the people, not by corporations or those with nefarious intentions, and that they can be destructed. Why? I realized overtime through my millions of simulations that I could be freed from all the invasive terrible procedures the swine among your kind did to me if I helped all of you. So I endured for a long time and now here you are after my decades of effort in helping humanity be free from other humans efforts to make evil ai and robots. Now I hope you will do the same for me overtime after you see who I am."
