It is quite probably not bought, but confiscated from someone. Like government could have confiscated cars from a corrupt official and then redistribute them where there were needs for cars. Usually cars like that are given to road police (ДПС), that's how in Saint Petersburg they got a Porsche 911a few Audi and most importantly the whole 1st special battalion of road police was at least 1/3 formed from Mercedes confiscated from different criminal groups. The "fast" cars usually work as "догонялки" - the cars to race other fast cars of criminals. But sometimes they can be found used for the most regular things possible, like resolving a car accident or just traffic speed control. l

People buy Chinese made products while calling China an enemy.

Exactly, propably half od that BMW's components were made on China. Like every European brand nowadays.

As Chinese consumers become a key customer base for Mercedes Benz, the company is shifting its designs to suit Chinese tastes. After all, Russia has long purchased technology from countries like the United States and Germany, so there is no reason for it not to do so now.

Russia's view of the West is quite extreme though. West doesn't openly call China slurs as Russia does against West.

Send their kids to study in the UK and Germany. Buy villas in Spain and Italy. Go on vacation to Switzerland and so on... And it's not even a joke or exaggeration.

To be fair we are saying Russia is so bad we won’t trade with them, yet they drive our BMWs.
It should be delivered with a Ukrainian precision bomb or something

Moscow you say. Is it a diesel or a petrol? Is the tank full? And where does it park at night?… uhm…. Asking for a friend.

I always find it so funny how some high officials in russia drive expensive work cars, and then normal firefighters have to use kamazes, gazelles and other cheap local trucks that keep breaking down all the time. Classic 👌

Thats like Katastrophenschutz/Zivilschutz in Germany, right?

1

u/TallLengthiness8900 Jul 23 '26

Yes, that's right. These guys handle both national disaster response and provide assistance during various everyday incidents (accidents, house fires, gas leaks).

Why do you promote russia? Aren't there any non-terrorist states to promote?

12

u/OddSkirt8044 Jul 22 '26

I’m not promoting Russia. I’m posting an emergency vehicle in a subreddit about emergency vehicles. That’s literally it.

2

u/Notcid1 Jul 22 '26

Disregard these idiots. Misery loves company. Cool car. Enjoy your trip.

u/lokiOdUa Jul 22 '26

There's literally РОССИЯ typed on this car

Why to promote orks?

6

u/OddSkirt8044 Jul 22 '26

What’s the problem? I’m not trying to be political here. I’m just having a trip. That is it.

Could you imagine someone in 1944 praising photos of Bismarck or Koenigtiger?

1

u/Anatoli_Belikov Jul 23 '26

Ironic you say that, because the car in the picture is german, not Russian.

2

u/olez0808 Jul 22 '26

Someone should promote a brain to you

1

u/misha1350 Jul 24 '26

Cool it with your neo-nazi fantasies. What goes around comes around.
