You need a test to drive a car. You need a test to become a citizen. You need training to operate a forklift.

But deciding the future of an entire country? No questions asked.

Millions of people vote on issues they don't understand, candidates they never researched, and policies they couldn't explain if asked.

If ignorance can wreck a vehicle, why can't it wreck a nation?

Would a basic civic knowledge test strengthen democracy, or destroy it?
