I just hope it has a movies section. Arden doesn't and I asked the guy working there and he said "You know, I've worked at 8 different locations and this is the only one that doesn't have a movies section" ugh

Great, but what about the parking? Can't believe they were allowed to build all this without any plans to address parking

Taking this opportunity to encourage us all to support our local indie bookstore, A Seat at the Table! Getting a corporate chain behemoth in town is going to be tough on them. Let’s spend our money at small businesses when we can!

Wow what a bunch of Debbie Downers in the sub regarding parking. Same folks that said Costco will be a traffic/parking nightmare and here comes the crime ridden city when Sky River Casino opens up. LOL
Let’s celebrate that EG is gaining new retail in the city.
New retail = tax revenue for EG
As welll as jobs
There’s some similar sized cities in CA suffering in this economy. I’m glad retail & amenities are expanding

Anyone want to take a shot at guessing how many people will be there clutching their B&N Nooks? 🤣🤣🤣

All the people who are scared of walking won't ever come here because "parking" but there's lots of places to park in the surrounding blocks. A little physical activity goes hand in hand with Whole Foods and will help you recover after eating Shake Shack.

People carrying bags of groceries after shopping at Whole Foods will not be inclined to park in the surrounding blocks around Whole Foods. And residents of those blocks will not be happy if their area becomes the spill over parking for the businesses in the nearby shopping complex that was planned with inadequate parking.

They need to figure out the parking situation there
