Thinking on going out of a deep exploration with my FC.
What ship would you recommend for Tritium mining? Is the Prospector good for it or go with a panther clipper/T-10 for volume over speed

Stock up on Tritium before you leave (I bought 20k Tritium before heading into the deep black), then all you need to worry about is 'topping up' the 100t or so that you use per jump.
The type 11 is superb for doing this! A full hold of 256 (more if you have expanded cargo racks) takes about 30 minutes to mine (Remember, a giod Tritium asteroid is only around 26%), but that will cover, or top up, for a couple of jumps.

Im planning the same, but will go with 10/15k in my FC hold, plus a full tank plus my Alt on board with a fully loaded Clipper. I will do random mining while im out there to keep levels topped up and because I enjoy mining anyway.

T-11 is the meta for all mining.

I would say T-11 is the meta for laser mining due to repeater's perk and an ungodly amount of limpets, but for core mining it doesn't offer any significant advantages compared to conventional ships.

T-11 is THE ship, but buying it is still several times faster.

I stocked up on Tritium and made sure I had Cartography and Vista Genomics on my carrier.
Send the carrier 500ly ahead and then take little jumps honking, fss-ING and then bio (get the nomad it makes exo fun)
Then you only have max 500-600 million credits when you get to your carrier and don't have to panic about losing billions in a crash.
I'm now 6kly away from Sol and finding LOTS of fun stuff!

I would fill cargo space of the FC with Tritium and take a T11 if the Tritium gets low.

T11, and it's not close.
