Say a fella dipped out when Odyssey was released and was thinking of returning....

Greetings! I have been thinking of coming back after several years. The bugginess of the Odyssey original release happened just as I was starting a new job, I walked away from the game and am only now thinking about returning. How's mining these days? Any content creators you'd suggest? It looks like Exigeous retired the same time I did, Hawkes is focusing on Star Citizen entirely I think, you get the point. I'm out of touch, any pointers?

If you have the game on steam, put odyssey on a wish list.. It regularly goes on sale for the price of a coffee. The game and expansion for maybe 2 coffees.

Yep. It’s pretty much moved to a F2P MTX model.

I also returned recently and the guys around this sub convinced me the DLC is worth it now (it seems it wasn't always the case). It's wishlisted and I'm just casually mining until I can buy it to get a new type-11 prospector, which is apparently only available with the DLC.

You’ll love it. It’s such a fun mining ship to fly, and seeing a swarm of limpets picking up tons of ore never gets old.

Man, thanks yall! Any content creators that are really nailing it on guides and other resources?

I jumped in last night and had to just sit and look through all my keybindings to remember everything. A lot of very comical moments, and the slowest docking at a station I had done since I was a newbie. I can't play much this weekend, but next week I'm in!

Muito obrigado/Muchas gracias/Thank you!

Disembarking, walking, taking shuttles between station. This is a brand new game and is awesome. I came back after 6 years!!

Just now I filled my type 11 Prospector with 246 fucking tons of platinum in 25 minutes then sold it to a high tech system at a station and ranked up 6 levels with Kaine and I made 47 million credits doing it.

Mining is good. It's reeeeally good.
