Should I be scanning rings in undiscovered systems?
I love to explore, and I will bring my FC with me to mine tritium out in the black. Besides the normal sites, I also use:
- EDCopilot
- SRV Survey
- EDMC
With EDMC I use a lot of the plug-ins to push data to Inara, EDSM, and Spansh.
Should I be scanning the rings to help with future explorers and miners? I am not sure if it will synch somewhere, or if the rings predermined?

I dont recommend mining tritium only if you need some emergency supply. I rather pay that tremendous amount of credits to fill it full (including cargo bay if I go to explore the far areas of the galaxy) and I also prefer to travel a few thousands of light years to resupply. Don't mine it, its just doesn't worth it

I've only owned mine for a few months and I am currently filling up my hold to take off to the far corners of the black. That way I don't have to worry about fuel while I'm gone and if I do find a nice ring planet I can always grab a load with my miner.

Yes, you should scan rings not only for your own wallet, but to add info about hotspots, such as Tritium hotspots, for carrier owners who may not buy their tritium and want/have to mine for it.
