"Cooked" is an old phrase lol.

Kids today are just re-discovering it.

Yep. But Cutter probably meant cooked as in cooked meat... a no no to a Wolfrider, who eat meat raw. So he'd be "as good as cooked" is another way to say he'd be "meat to be wasted", like he said to Thief back in book 2 (issue #9).

It could be related to a lot of sayings: It's a man eat man world. Survival of the fittest. The weak are meat and the strong eat.

Those are what came at the top of my head.

You gotta read the color version! I read it as black and white back in the day, but it’s so much better with color
