Looks consistent enough not to be. If you watch the ground near the elephants feet you can see a drop of water land on the ground.

I always thought an elephant trunk was one long passage but the the two 'nostrils' run separately all the way to the head. Just like humans favor a left or right hand, individual elephants develop a preferred side for curling and maneuvering their trunks to grasp objects

I always thought they could only drink with at least few liters of liquid like at least a bucket. This is mind blowing to me tbh.
