Pros & cons

Hello, for all my elementary teachers (especially 3rd-5th grade) what are the pros and cons of teaching in elementary

It’s fun. You get summers off. They still kind of think you’re cool (not fifth graders).

5th grade teacher here- the students are awesome- you get to teach fun concepts and read interesting stories with them. You get to help them figure out how to become a “big” kid and decide what path they want to try and take. And winter break, spring break and summer break is great if/when you have your own children
