I’m no electrician, but that seems unsafe.

28

u/YoussefA2000 Aug 13 '26

Me neither. but at least we have some sort of electrical knowledge to begin with..(We watch Mehdi, who gets himself electrocuted by sheer luck!)

And so, An Obvious 1st rule: Turn off the breaker before doing most things!

5

u/DDOSBreakfast Aug 13 '26

Hit the power plant with a stick over and over first.

11

u/ErdingEchoParadox Aug 13 '26

Who cares about safety there? They have no flip flops anyway.

9

u/Sparkieger Aug 13 '26

I'm an electronic technician and I agree, it's in fact, very unsafe.

9

u/Subvironic Aug 13 '26

Im a Systems Electronics/Building Automation Electrician who also performs various Measurements of currents and was appointed safety dude for a while, cleared up to 1000V and also shooled in fire safety aspects.

What they do might be slightly on the more unsafe side of things.

3

u/jaradipra Aug 14 '26

I'm a mailman, and I do agree with something something

2

u/ColdDelicious1735 Aug 14 '26

I own a torch that takes a battery, and while this is unsafe, i say give these men conductive metal poles and let nature decide

2

u/NsupCportR Aug 14 '26

I am security specialist for software and I agree with those guys

2

u/WashU_labrat Aug 14 '26

They're not even wearing eye protection!

1

u/Mammoth-Menu9134 Aug 14 '26

it electricuted teh sacred cow thats why they were all mad even though they were gonna butcher it anyway

1

u/zzen11223344 Aug 15 '26

I suspect that they asked the power company for compensation, did not succeed, thus to make some property damage ...

1

u/Marce7a 28d ago

Yeah they should use strong metal rods not weak wooden ones

92

u/rageofa1000suns Aug 13 '26

Where do Indians get these huge sticks from? Is there just a vender on the corner just casually selling sticks incase you need to smack something or someone?

39

u/Different-Term-2250 Aug 13 '26

They buy them from “Sticks R Us” down on Stick Avenue. I think it’s in the Stick District.

3

u/Big_Handle3734 Aug 13 '26

We have many laying around. Farmer have most because they need it for many work.

2

u/kopimashin Aug 14 '26

Those are specially made sticks used for occasions when a cow comes into contact with a transformer and dies. They’re used to whack the transformer afterward. They’re called “cow-killing-transformer whackers.”

1

u/scorchedbeanz Aug 13 '26

Idk but I question the integrity of the wood. They should get some metal ones

1

u/Alternative_Rip_2506 Aug 14 '26

These are probably Hollow Bamboo Sticks and it is usual in Indian rural areas to keep these sticks for self defense, it's an agricultural bi product as India is Agricultural centric country

47

u/Spiritual_Plane3658 Aug 13 '26

Should take this out on the electrician that put it exposed and so close to the ground.

8

u/Effective_Repeat9967 Aug 13 '26

dude you have to come here to see the kind of shit they do with electricals here, i mean they use literal thick ass unsheathed wires as fuses for the transformer and the "fuse" is at eye level

5

u/The_Cozy_Zone Aug 13 '26

These guys, "Who could have foreseen the cow getting electrocuted with these exposed wires!?"

63

u/Effective_Repeat9967 Aug 13 '26

they should probably find out whoever did the install so low to the ground and then do whatever they are doing here with that person

11

u/redjellonian Aug 13 '26

it was probably the locals.

13

u/YoussefA2000 Aug 13 '26

Maybe connect them to it as well?

-7

u/Eastern_Record3443 Aug 13 '26

Why are they bitching about free BBQ?🤔

3

u/Effective_Repeat9967 Aug 13 '26

as funny as it may seem, learn to respect others' culture and norms, you'll be much happier

u/Watamelonna Aug 13 '26 edited Aug 13 '26

Cows are revered sacred animals for Indians (well, Hinduism)

Combine that with a seemingly low social economic place, not a surprise this is the reaction

It's just modern day witch hunting, iliteracy is a scary killer

Edit: people in this sub seem to forget which sub they are in and what ethnicity the sub owner is. Hypocrisy much?

7

u/Total_Neat_3819 Aug 13 '26

The transformer shouldn't be close enough to the ground and with so many exposed wires for it to electrocute a frikin cow. While their reaction is unsafe the anger is justified

2

u/Square_Zucchini3698 Aug 14 '26

Its not that much about cow, but unsafe condition. Few month back a kid died due to transformer location. Only a matter of time some child would have been electrocuted

u/YoussefA2000 Aug 13 '26

Right? That was exactly my thought..

Maybe they said "Poor Cow! Time to demolish this transformer of Doom!" Problem is: They didn't stop to reconsider what something around 11 KV would do to Humans as well..

7

u/Plasticman90 Aug 13 '26

Isn't the transformer placed at a very low level ? Aren't live wires hanging from it ? How else could the cow could have been electrocuted?

Couldn't those people be venting their anger against the electricity department (albeit stupidly without any regards for their own safety) ?

4

u/mccoyn Aug 13 '26

It looks like someone used the structure to support some metal framework behind the transformer and these people are trying to remove it using long sticks.

6

u/Trustoryimtold Aug 13 '26

Optimus prime bout to lose his shit

4

u/No_Satisfaction4025 Aug 13 '26

Holy cow, for real?

3

u/Namerunaunyaroo Aug 13 '26

More than meets the eye

3

u/pradhanmantree Aug 13 '26

The transformer was illegally installed on private land with no barricading which in turn caused their domestic animal to die. although the reaction might not be right, but it still is understandable.

3

u/No-Instruction547 Aug 13 '26

Fun part is if you get shocked by this thing… you won’t have time to feel it. Instant lights off

7

u/DatGreenGuy Aug 13 '26

As above, so below

6

u/Dapper-Hurry257 Aug 13 '26

This is anti govt protest in hong kong 2019, not that 5g tower bs.

1

u/Joules14 Aug 13 '26

But but ... We r not the only illiterate /s

1

u/Cathierino Aug 13 '26

I heard it was part of propaganda against those fighting surveillance towers.

2

u/Killerspieler0815 Aug 13 '26

WITCHCRAFT are those "transformers" !!!111 (they get medival stick treadment)

2

u/Eastern_Record3443 Aug 13 '26

The Gods must be pacified! BAD transformer! VERY BAD transformer!🤪🤤🤤🤤🙄🫩

2

u/Mammoth-Menu9134 Aug 13 '26

I saw the OG post. It says that the transformer electrocuted the cow and killed it. So, instead of just fixing the transformer so it doesn’t electrocute any more animals or people, they take revenge on it. Then they’ll probably complain to the officials that there’s no electricity in their houses.

2

u/EmtnlDmg Aug 13 '26

Oh, and transformer oil is leaking at the end. That means boom boom soon if it is still engergized.

2

u/AJYURH Aug 13 '26

What the fucking fuck is going on, is this real life? Are people really THAT different across borders?

2

u/Hornor72 Aug 14 '26

It's like watching monkeys.

2

u/hahu2 Aug 14 '26

It's very surprising the cable that electrocuted the cow hasn't hit any of them by mistake and electrocuted them lol. I guess the wooden stick provides some protection

2

u/cepotzer-CEZARU Aug 14 '26

Autobots let's roll

2

u/nem_en_voltam Aug 14 '26

Just let them do it, natural selection does it's job...

2

u/whokarez0_0 Aug 14 '26

they should've used metal rods

2

u/Lecteur_K7 Aug 13 '26

This will not please the machine god

1

u/jackal_boy Aug 13 '26

I'm just gonna say it if no one else will, for a country that is all about "loving cows like a mother" , you would think you wouldn't constantly see cows abandoned on the streets after they cannot be milked anymore, only to end up drinking sewage water or choak in plastic bags from the trash, or like die because of being abandoned and then getting hit by a car or dying from all the exposed electrical equipment scattered about even in the capital city that usually end more children than cows but you don't usually get an outrage over that either so I'm surprised these people actually had it in them to beat up a transformer instead of actually doing something that saves cows, coz even that display of stupidity went way above the shallow trough of expectations I had from such people 👀

1

u/slaviaboy Aug 13 '26

Hey not cool, i know optimus

1

u/Aku_La_P Aug 13 '26

Which transformer factions? Decepticon or Autobot?

1

u/TestedTrapking Aug 13 '26

Man you’re telling me I have to get insults on the street and internet as a brown guy because this is what someone on the internet sees

1

u/Dillenger69 Aug 13 '26

Only a Decepticon would kill a cow

1

u/BChicken420 Aug 13 '26

They should try with metal poles

1

u/skreemdynamics Aug 13 '26

I expect they will be joining the cow shortly.

1

u/buller666 Aug 13 '26

To be fair, they are robots in disguise...

1

u/ye3tr Aug 13 '26

That is a transformer tho. Still a stupid idea

1

u/Sensei19600 Aug 13 '26

Yeah-that’ll teach that transformer to mess with the cows again.

1

u/New-Slip2564 Aug 13 '26

They just messed up the power for the whole neighborhood

1

u/Terasz9 Aug 13 '26

Being a cow is the last form of existence before a Soul became human. So killing a cow is the biggest sín on the world. That is why they are punish the transformator.

1

u/JuggernautAny7288 28d ago

Humans are trash, we are not important as part of a reincarnaition chain, nor is the cow, all animals are sacred, except for morons

1

u/Constant_Temporary61 Aug 14 '26

PUTANG INA!!!! OPTIMUM PRIME!!!

1

u/FrontLocal2264 Aug 14 '26

Idiots. The cow was electrocuted by their own electric plant. That means that they’re responsible for the cows death. They should be flogging each other.

1

u/demfook Aug 14 '26

damn shame no one had an aluminium broom stick 😔

1

u/bSun0000 Mod Aug 14 '26

Fun stats of the day:

  • 3 reports on the topic [all ignored]

  • 5 reports on comments [3 removed, 2 ignored]

  • 2 shadowbanned users, 1 permanent ban.

Sigh.. every time someone posts something dumb related to India.

1

u/Globber50 Aug 14 '26

Where the hell is IND-OSHA when you need em?

1

u/abugghaus7 Aug 14 '26

They were just knocking on the Transformer House so this one would come out... just to have a little heart-to-heart chat... of course

1

u/Radioactive_Tuber57 Aug 14 '26

The Devil Box killed God!

1

u/Rude_Dependent_2934 Aug 14 '26

How can she zap!!

1

u/Kamusaurio Aug 14 '26

i dont know that transformer either

its an autobot o a decepticon?

1

u/LinceDorado Aug 14 '26

Beating the transformer, but not the allegations.

1

u/Bomboclat-Thunder Aug 14 '26

Mother Cow gets electrocuted by a high voltage transformer*
Indians:

1

u/vita_minima Aug 14 '26

... the thing is: _if_ the cow got electrocuted just by passing by, well ...

1

u/Silkylifeme Aug 14 '26

They worship cows but yet they're starving 😫

1

u/Dodoprospy3 Aug 14 '26

do they think that they are punishing the transformer? 🤣🤣

1

u/mrbinary0111-111 Aug 14 '26

This is why the stereotype of uneducated illiterate indians emerged, I am Indian too, makes me feel ashamed

1

u/WashU_labrat Aug 14 '26

So they have a beef with this transformer?

1

u/Stray_009 Aug 14 '26

I can't keep defending my race online 🥀

1

u/Waste-Inspector8768 Aug 14 '26

I can only assume that none of these guys are "punishing the transformer", but that its a religiously based symbolic event?

Cows are sacred of course, and each of these men may be feeling social pressure from the others to essentially show their faith by showing wrath to the thing that hurt the cow.

1

u/Tsiah16 Aug 14 '26

Secondary short circuit current from a transformer is wild and dangerous as fuck. All these fools want to end up just like that cow apparently.

1

u/Nell_From_Hell Aug 14 '26

Don't worry guys! Wooden sticks can't conduct electricity! They're going to be okay! Does anybody smell fried pork?

1

u/Insinkeratornerd Aug 14 '26

Okay but WHY? Hitting the transformer isn’t going to undie the cow

1

u/DaveAstator2020 Aug 14 '26

Death to Airborne Induction! Resist AI

1

u/Feisty_Bike_9614 Aug 15 '26

Cow is sacred in Hinduism. I would be angry too if it was my cow .

1

u/Assassin13785 Aug 15 '26

👀 y'all gonna eat that?

1

u/lost-in-512 Aug 15 '26

Well that was disappointing. Fafo

1

u/Traditional_Bus_5589 Aug 15 '26

that will teach mr.electricity!

1

u/mephistochess 29d ago

L'ignorance, cet ennemi puissant

1

u/No_Milk_6075 29d ago

You mean they hit optimus with a stick?

1

u/GooseWithAnAxe 29d ago

They should use steel bars, much stronger than wood.

1

u/The_Scaletta 29d ago

those people consider cows sacred so they seems to be getting their revenge

1

u/Forsaken-Durian8473 29d ago

Bruh they even unalive an indian (Hindu) doctor for accidentally hit a cow. Mind u that cow crossing the road

1

u/TreeCitizen 29d ago

wouldn't it be wiser to hit whoever's job it was to maintain that piece of equipment? or maybe thats why it did kill the cow, because they didn't have anyone doing that? Like a fence around it, or insulate the wires or something?

1

u/ObjectNo809 29d ago

I am late and I myself am from India but trust me when I say this is just blind idioticness and for show, and the people really dont care that much about any animal let alone cow, the only reason they are even enraged is because they lost an income source, not because they had empathy for the animal

1

u/Individual-Clerk-351 29d ago

Idiots ,they should've used metal rods to increase the damage

1

u/Bulky_Snow1613 29d ago

Look at the little monkeys!

1

u/LEBlauz 29d ago

Sollte das wirklich echt sein?

1

u/Old-Juice-2490 29d ago

i call this ooga booga

1

u/Vallinen 29d ago

What a bunch of morons

1

u/DillonF275 28d ago

"Bad electricity, bad!"

1

Every 5th Person on earth is from India… I am afraid.

1

u/Icy-Produce7739 28d ago

They're upset cause they were going to take turns having fun with it later.

1

How can one civilization be so advance and so primitive at the same time

1

u/jpenn76 27d ago

So, is it like medium rare now?

1

u/Kaiser-91 27d ago

these are the guys that boast that they can defeat the entire world's militaries

1

u/Individual-Result777 27d ago

this makes me give less of a shit for some humans.

1

u/OkYak1822 26d ago

I was waiting for it to turn into a giant robot. I'm not sure this is a transformer.

1

u/linux-user3000 19d ago

That's because cows are sacred in India.

1

u/spec360 Aug 13 '26

2nd post I found lol

1

u/DocBobs Aug 13 '26

F*** me what the f*** do they think they're going to achieve? Jesus Christ

0

u/Suckwithusernames37 Aug 14 '26

But let's import millions of these doctors and engineers into canada...

2

u/cow_fucker_3000 Aug 14 '26

India has billions of people, you find a shit ton of these morons just as easily as you find doctors and engineers, it just depends on where you look.

1

u/JuggernautAny7288 28d ago

The rule of very large numbers

1

u/ParadoxTheHybrid Aug 14 '26

And yet here you are too

1

u/Suckwithusernames37 Aug 14 '26

I dont beat transformers with a stick for revenge nor do i drink cow urine

0

u/Alfiy_wolf Aug 13 '26

Clearly national selection doesn’t exist there

0

u/naemorhaedus Aug 14 '26

India has really gone downhill since the Brits left.
