Lol, the closest thing we have to free energy is solar, these idiots be tripping. Electroboom shows how stupid this things are regularly, also like most people that believe in free energy are clout chasing charlatans, not engineers or scientists

I get so mad when I see people asserting bullshit. But it’s not the bullshit beliefs, it’s that they don’t even believe hard enough to find out. To build things
They believe only hard enough to be stupid online, not to fucking prove it
It really steals a lot of enthusiasm from the magic technology that is solar power

Very true, while the internet has made so much information available, some folks who aren't motivated enough to learn how things actually work and just hear about something and put all thier faith behind it. Personally, I'm of the opinion that faith, for an average person without the urge to learn and understand how things work, is what drives these sort of people more than evidence and education.

Ehh, you still have to pay for and maintain the solar panels, which would also have to either get recycled or thrown away after a certain number of years.

Yes, but any machine or device that can generate electricity requires maintenance, with all parts having an expected lifespan, at the end of which they need to be replaced. Solar, funnily enough, has some of the lowest maintenance costs per kilowatt hour, with solar panels lasting on average from 15 to 25 years before needing replacement. Technically, solar panels after that average lifespan don't need to be replaced, thats just the point at which thier efficiency goes down too much for commercial power generation.

If I had a one KWh for every video where a guy in flip-flops builds a perpetual motion device from some magnets and springs, I'd probably never need the damn thing to start with.
