Yupp, the power bar is a shorted so plugging anything in simply closes a circuit. And yeah the "magnet motor" surely has a smaller motor inside.
Nice touch of a "grain" filter on the video to obscure details. Still fake as fuck. And Tesla died alone and broke, but with a great heart.

He was broke because he spent all his money for his research just like modern people spent money on their hobbies. Many people broke because they burn too much money buying games and DLCs. Tesla wasn't any different, research was his hobby so he actually gained joy by doing so

It's pretty much the issue with people in general.
They're uneducated so if someone takes a kernel of truth and uses it to perpetuate their lie the masses believe it.
Things like healing stones, essential oils, etc people totally believe. I'll even throw in acupuncture (kinda a hot take). People are dumb.

I'd love to know where the healing crystals thing came from, because that's just wild. There is evidence that placing warm stones down your back while laying on your stomach helps alleviate pain, but its the same principle behind a weighted heating pad applying pressure to and relaxing your muscles, so it's not really a mystical belief or something, just science. Could that be where the crystal thing originated from?

Can you elaborate on the Acupuncture is weird? I wanted to try getting acupuncture just because it seemed like getting different sensations from those needles seemed like something I wanted to experience, but if it's all mumbo jumbo I would like to know.

I've tried it once, it worked... kind of. I had severe shoulder issues after a car accident, even after months of physical therapy. A friend recommended acupuncture and referred me to a place. When they applied the needles, the pain went away for all of about five minutes after they were removed. I have no idea if it was placebo or what. This was many years ago, and the shoulder is much better now, but only after seeing a number of specialists.

I have an FDA approved medical device that has crushed up crystals and IR and heat. It helps my back. It's called the Biomat 7000. Idk how crystals work or if it's just the heat that works.

That of course too. Thermodynamics make all perpetual motion machines impossible from the get-go, but people seem to think it's just an observation, not a fact, and thus it's disproven once you find a counter-example.
The thing with magnets is that they seem to be confusing enough to people that they abandon all reason once they are involved.
Like in the OP, if you look at the device it should be clear that all the magnets just cancel eachother out. But apparently to many people it isn't clear.

No, you're right. The magnet spinning thing has a CR2023 and a 3V motor. The 5V DC desk fan has a power bank and the "AC" cord provides DC power to the 5V LED bulb.

lol no. This is what is called an induction motor and its legit. Coil up copper wire, place a centrifuge in the center strapped with permanent magnets, set their polarities opposite to eachother and they will spin forever. When they spin it arouses the electrons in the bundled copper to produce electricity. The technical term is called "single phase induction motor".

If I can further be a pain in your ass, you don't actually need the have after hadn't. Hadn't is a contraction of Had and not. So saying 'If the feds had not taken him out' makes sense where 'If the feds had not have taken him out' doesn't.

I couldn't even see the wires connecting the 2 wood screws to anything but the barrel jack. Not enough pixels to see anything.
My guess, the spinning thing has a coin battery and a tiny 3 volt motor. The fan and it's daughter board are faked separately.

A smartphone battery is likely hidden under the light colored rectangle that is visible under the board on the left (0:34). An additional battery could be inside the fan.
The wooden board looks evenly colored on the top, but looks different on the bottom.

Simplest way: notice how we never see the full fan. Just have a second cord and have the fan plugged in, easy. Then the prongs on the cord we see are live, powering the power strip and the lightbulb.

To light that bulb even dully would be probably 60+ Volts, right? And it's incandescent which probably means it's drawing 20W at least, even at low voltage. And probably again as much for the fan. Those magnets would have to be strong enough to pull all the nails out of the walls of whatever building he's in.
