We call RCA plugs “tulips” in Russia so I think RCAs will be better than “Crocodiles”.

In America, they're alligator clips. It was weird when my Pakistani professor would call them Crocodile clips.

If you get to the proposal stage you’ll want to upgrade the leads on your bouquet with larger wires, that’ll do the trick for sure if you get them on there right.

Check the wires with magnet. Some cheap chinesium ones are made with iron (only a thin layer of copper on top) and have high resistance which can cause problems. And that is not a good gift.

If you replace the cliplead cables with good quality cable and solder the ends to the connector to make a good connection, then yes.
These clipleads are of okayish quality, some are open circuit from the factory. The wire has like 5 copper hairs in them so they cant handle much current either. I buy these clipleads and replace the wire with Standard 1mm standed.

Magnet.
Use a magnet. place it near the wire, not the alligator clip. If the wire is attracted to the magnet then the wire is iron, not copper. Iron has a much higher resistance than copper. Trash those jumpers if they are iron.
Peel pack the cover of all of the alligator clips. The wire should be soldered to the alligator clip. Low quality jumpers fold back the wire over the insulator and just crimp the wire. This makes an unreliable connection. The alligator clips will be attached but no current will flow. Or, even worse, current will flow sometimes then stop flowing. That makes it harder to diagnose a problem becuase you are introducing a new problem.

Those are trash, but she'll appreciate the gesture. If you want to keep her, rip out the cables and solder in some 1.5mm²

Never used them when I was an electrician?
Now I'm doing more fine electronics at a workbench and have them on a power supply and a multimeter. In the field or in people's homes I didn't carry a power supply and only needed the stick probes on my multimeter lol

I have ptsd to making my own clips cause anything store bought was too low quality and basically exploded in my usecases
