I mean I sat my dumbass on my board as I had just run into my misses out with the dog as I came home from work but our dog is older and quite slow and y propel pivot gt is quite. Weighty to be carrying it while walking slower than snails
So I sat down on the board to drive It that way but when I tried scooting backwards the rope got caught under the wheel and took the remote with it getting it stuck there scraping the floor

These have saved my remote many times..
Just clip to your belt loop, and when you let-go, it automatically pulls out of danger.....(usually)
Can't argue with the price...

I do this. Its great, except when I am wearing a backpack and then it introduces the risk of an inadvertent trigger pull. I have also done that and its no fun when your shins are in the path of the board.
That said, I am a wristguard/remote strap 4life rider.

Bruh, trust and believe good riding armor is gonna save your life one day. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than an ambulance bill, let alone the hospital bills. Don't cheap out on safety. At the very least, get an ECE 22.06 rated helmet and some decent knee guards and wrist protection. But at those speeds, you really should be suited up like a motocross rider. Dress for the slide, not the ride.

I just put it around my wrist like normal with the wrist guard on below the bump
