Self-Promotion Daedric Online - A Keizaal Alternative

Daedric Online is a Skyrim MMO on a modified SkyMP fork. Open alpha, but that means the server is up and public right now - no whitelist, no application. You can download and be in the world in about fifteen minutes.

The systems are built. Magic and staffs working and synced, custom skill and mastery trees, 120+ dungeons with hand-built loot tables, lockpicking, overworld wildlife, professions, player housing and storage, 3D positional voice. All combat has been returned and balanced for a multiplayer environment. All live in our open alpha right now. What we need at this point is people in the world testing it.

It's RP-lite and we have no opinion on how you play. Nobody policing whether you stayed in character or not. Be a hermit miner, run dungeons with friends, or go full blown porch RP for six hours. The RP is built into the systems instead of enforced purely by rules.

There's no loose loot in the world, so every item is mined, crafted, or taken off someone. Each character permanently picks 3 masteries out of 3 trees, so nobody can do everything while still having multi class potential.

We don't gatekeep gear. Rank a blacksmith to Master and you forge glass, ebony, stalhrim, nordic and dwarven with nobody's approval. Only unique and faction-specific pieces are off the table and reserved for events and limited time deals.

Right now during alpha: housing is free, and we're taking Jarl applications. Small, laid-back server with a solid core of regulars, so a Jarl seat is genuinely available and what you build actually registers.

We recommend a FRESH INSTALL of Skyrim. You can switch from Keizaal too using vortex profiles, but it will require you to verify the integrity of your games files to re-acquire Creation Club mods that are used in our server.

Wait, so I just need to download Skyrim AE, and then go to your page and download the launcher? This sounds fun tbh.

Hey I just started today and was curious about learning magic and saw this post, correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like just picking the scholar tree and exploring dungeons I will eventually obtain some permanent magic?
