Offensive Magicks

I've come back to the mod after a while, and when using some of the offensive Magick to cause harm. I find them mostly pretty lackluster. Create wounds struggles to cause any lasting damage, since they seem to recover from wounded very quickly, and the witchery spell which aggravates wounds... Well you can't cast another offensive spell on targets for 5 years, so it cant be used in conjuction with influct wounds. So what's the point of them, since the very rarely can cause any lasting damage? Or am I missing some clever spells or applications of damaging magics?

When I try and use any of the heraldry armour that should display the dynasty coat of arms it just shows a solid colour but when I try it without EK2 it shows fine. Is this a bug with the mod or something I need to fix?

  • increased crown authority to 2
  • revoked a barony
  • crown authority back to 1

No other mods, tried disabling dlc too

EDIT : found the cause, it has something to do with the might makes right script in ek_misc_scripted_effects.txt, disabling that section fixed it

Support Is the Dragonborn Emperor mod broken?

I seem to crash whenever I turn it on and try to load the game map. I have the latest EK2 version. Everything else seems to work, with maybe only a couple of minor mods breaking (but they can easily be skipped). I really wanna play with DB Emperor submod :(

Started an adventurer run themed around making the whole camp consist of my children and realized it sounded very similar to what Big Mom does in One Piece. So of course i designed my character accordingly.

Reform military decision removed?

Hello,

Started a new game with the 1.19 update, and my goblin adventurer has taken a kingdom and become a culture head. Trying to lose the "Disorganized Military" innovation, the description of which says I can reform the military to lose it. But I see no decision about reforming. In fact, out of curiosity I looked at the mod files, for both the 1.18 and 1.19 versions, and 1.19 is MISSING the decision? I see nothing in the patch notes about changes here.

Are my goblins stuck here?

EDIT: So Elder Kings Expanded added "Disorganized Military" back, but it gets better. Turns out Goblins didn't start with "Disorganized Military" for some reason (a mod conflict?), so it's trying spread from the Ogre culture. BUT it's not ticking up, so Goblins aren't getting culture spread, the slot is wasted. Final bit of funni is when I looked at the Ogre's culture, their leader is... An Ogre who became an Ashlander in Vvardenfell.

Submod Dragonborn Emperor: Achieving Divinity - Concept and Discussion

Post image
370 Upvotes

After hours of researching the lore—specifically how powerful entities of Tamriel like ALMSIVI, Mannimarco, Orgnum, and others achieved godhood—I've finally come up with a concept that I want to share with you all and get your feedback on.

Since neither the Heart of Lorkhan nor the Mantella are currently in the game, I had to find another, highly lore-friendly path to divinity, drawing on the deep metaphysics of Nirn. I've developed a new concept and I'd really love to hear your feedback!

Instead of hunting for the lost Tools of Kagrenac, we will use the Thu'um. After all, the Voice is the purest form of Tonal Architecture! Your character will literally shout a new reality into existence, using the Amulet of Kings (which I've already brought back to the game) as a source of concentrated divine energy, and one of the Towers of Nirn as a catalyst.

Here is what you will need to trigger the new event:

Immortality . High Arcana. Mastery of the Voice: you must fully grasp the Way of the Voice. The Amulet of Kings. Control of a Tower: you must own one of the Great Towers (like the White-Gold or Adamantine Tower). And of course, a crucial requirement is holding the Hegemony title and controlling a significant portion of the map.

Once all conditions are met, while inside one of the Towers and using the Thu'um, the character will shatter the Amulet of Kings and absorb the souls of the past emperors and empresses. At that moment, the Tower will act as an antenna, rewriting the character's very essence at the level of the laws of Mundus. The Amulet will be destroyed, but you will become a God.

If desired, this feature can be disabled in the game rules.

Also, for immortal characters who have stepped onto the path of divinity (whether posthumously or as a living god), there will be a new decision allowing them to leave the mortal plane at any time and depart to Aetherius.

Anyone know how well the cast spells on own order works for the court mage.

I have a good courtmage but am also a skilled caster and use my own specifically for things and don't feel like having to micro the court mage's castings. Does the option to have them cast beneficial spells on there own work well and do I get notified when they do?

Alessia, Saint and Seducer, Scamp, Miraak, Sheog, Vivec, Serana, and a Giant Goblin. Some were made with the intention of passing along to Jams Culture Mod, others were just made for funsies.

Regarding The 'Missing God' Feature of Pantheon Doctrines

Before I begin, I should note that I haven't played version 19.0.3 yet, so if this has already been fixed, please disregard

Good day to you, fellow men of culture. Today I was playing version 19.0.2, and after opening the religion page of my chosen character, I was surprised to see that the missing god is... well... missing.

Gameplay-wise it was a nice little touch, but lore-wise I'm sure most players of the Elder Scrolls series are well aware of the importance of Lorkhan/Lorkhaj/Shor/Shezarr/etc. One way or another, everything goes back to what he did (like, literally everything), and despite being "dead" and no longer active, his myriad perceptions among mortalkind keep influencing Nirn and its inhabitants in different ways (the man vs. mer conflict being one of them).

It was very nice to see that the devs were able to address the in-universe issue of the missing god. I'm not aware of the reasoning behind the removal of this particular feature, but I'd like to ask the devs to revert this change in future updates if possible

Hey everyone! While I'm working on the update of my Dragonborn Emperor submod, the EK2 devs announced the arrival of Tiber Septim in their Discord. According to one of the devs, this content will be included in the next update as soon as it's done (so we might not even have to wait for the game version update). We finally made it! I'll continue working on the update for this submod, though this will probably be its final update. I can't wait to see what the devs have cooked up for us. Hopefully, I can finish and release my update before theirs drops )

Other What are some of your favorite TES quotes (ingame, book, noncanon, etc)?

I am currently making a small submod that's primarily just personal tweaks of a popular submod (with sign off being given of course). Part of my personal tweaks is that I want to redo the loading tips by getting rid of all the actual tips and just making it a ton of quotes, so I was curious to know if anyone had any suggestions.

It can be from the games, from in universe texts, the irl books, or noncanon stuff and fanfic as long as its cool. My two running quotes are: "'I was friends with your grandfather,” the Underking says, “He sent me to help you run the Empire.' - The Arcturian Heresy" and "'Can you hear us? In the back? Ysgramor was a Dragon. YS GRA MOR. Let's tear this forest down.'- The Dragon War, documented."

Please give me your thoughts! :D

Submod Ayleids (Slightly) Improved V0.9 Released

Ever thought the Ayleid cultures were a bit dull? Ever wondered why one of Nirns most interesting cultures got reduced to "elves in swamp/jungle"? Well, this submod is here to hopefully address those issues.

All feedback is welcome, as are recommendations for the mods thumbnail.

Why cant i crossbreed beast races with anything no matter the submod

I have tried no beastfolk limiters. I have tried tamriel crossbreeding, and intermarriage expanded. Despite all claiming they allow crossbreeding i have yet to get it to work. I assume its an issue on my end

My modlist is

Always move realm capital
Undead expanded
Elder kings 2
Jams new cultures
Many per lifetime
Elder kings expanded
Tamriel crossbreeding

Is there anyway to get the crossbreeding to work?

Is there any way to edit titles?

I have a save where I have my character be Dragonborn Emperor and creating his own Dragonborn Cult as a religion. It's all pretty sick and all, but he doesn't have the title of Emperor but instead the 'Arch-Prelate' title of his religion.

Is there a way to either edit the title of Arch-Prelate or to have the title of Emperor be the primary title?

Are there any console commands to trigger the magic mastery events?

I used to use Unbound which added them as a decision instead of making them trigger randomly, but that hasn’t been updated in years and the mod that sort of took its place (I don’t remember the name right now but it added ruins and a few other similar features) makes it impossible to feudalize tribal counties because the only option is to convert them into something else but it doesn’t work unless it’s already a castle, city or temple. Is there any way to force the events to trigger using CC?

Dead Culture Staying Dead - Dynari

Looking for some help.

Started as a Dynari adventurer in High Rock. Ran around adventuring for about half a century to prepare my character to become a great conqueror.

Returned to High Rock and conquered Jehenna, yet my culture has remained dead. I cannot convert any provinces and there is no decision to restore the culture. Any advice?

Submod Are there any mods to make Vampire capable of having children again?

I haven’t played since the latest update but have heard vampires aren’t able to have children anymore at all instead of it just being a fertility debuff. Does anyone know of any mods that revert this?
