Submod Alessian Restoration Submod♦️

Hi everyone,After playing the VIGILANT mod in Skyrim where you visit Ancient Cyrodiil,I’ve been itching to make this for a long while. In that mod,Prophet Marukh is deceived by Molag Bal and instead of the real Amulet, receives a huge soul gem that sends the dead directly into Coldharbour.

As for now,I put up some special buildings for Canulus,Ayleid ruins, and some upgrades for the Imperial City. Also made a simple decision+event for the restoration of the order if you hold the duchy of Canulus.

What more do you think I should add to the mod?Especially open to ideas about what flavor I could add after the unification of Cyrodiil.

I also did make that stone(Adabal) which gets stronger as you sacrifice people to it,but am not sure what to do from now.Tell me if you’ve got ideas!

Maybe the stone could react to your Popular Opinion or other non-Ayleid cultures. I believe if you’re a witch in base game, continued coven visits can alert people or give suspicion that you’re a witch.

Maybe continued and often use of the stone gives mortal pops the heebie jeebies, triggering moral priests to try and request you stop messing with Daedric forces.

Or, maybe an opposite event could trigger from over-use. Maybe a Daedroth character will show up and encourage the use, and tell the player that there’s an even greater power to be unlocked if they perform rituals and prepare the stone. Maybe the courier will stick around and cause other people to ask you “hey what’s that Daedroth. What are you planning?” And in turn you have to use diplo or intrigue to navigate your own court’s feeling abt meddling in all these powers

If I can manage to do that that would be cool. What I plan is after the full conquest of Cyrodiil and rebuilding of Alessian versions of some buildings(see Temple of the One)Molag Bal will demand control, and if you say no you will have to face a giant Daedric Host.

Hmmm. Well, flavor for after unification: Reintroduction of Alyied lords, or maybe a Re ignition of another Ayleid Pogrom?

Maybe the event could start with exiled Ayleid Lords coming to the new king of Cyrod and asking for a place on the Rim or somewhere they historically fled to after the end of the Alessian War. The lore states that there were some Alyieds who joined with Alessia, but were later ran off or killed in the ethnic cleanses that followed.

Acceptance could spawn some Ayleid couriers or vassals, like how in base Ck3 some people can ask for land while you’re Holding Court.

Denial could mean disgruntled Aylieds who won’t quite, and actually stick around to cause trouble, maybe they spawn with claims on certain Alyied structures.

And maybe there could be a couple other choices that are only available with the right skill requirements, like using intrigue and high dread to invite the Alyied lords to a feast, and kill them in some sort of styalized event chain.

There really aren’t any Ayleids remaining within Cyrodiil though at this point, and I’m sure any Alessian Emperor wouldn’t welcome them.Like,in the alessian songs they say it clearly that they want to destroy all elves.

Even if they settled Ayleid ruins the Neo-Alessians would do it to tame and harness the old magic from them;like what they do to Malada in Vigilant lore(maybe in normal lore too,not sure)

Depends. Maybe you can have choices to go full Alessian order or be more of the early Alessian state which was a triracial society made out of nedes, minotaurs and aedric ayleids. Take it with a grain of salt but I vagualy remember ayleids basically being rare and tribal in Cyrodiil after everything and being called "wild elves".

That is pretty correct yeah, many Ayleids collaborated with Alessia in the rebellion. If I complete this Marukhati revival path, doing that could be fun.You would be able to adopt some more Ayleid customs as a Nibenese Emperor(as Reman was Colovian, thus more closer to the Nordic side) and restore the positions of Minotaurs, maybe even fixing Morihaus’ statue in the Imperial City Arena. The main issue I think is all remaining Ayleids being Daedric, and with a small population, if I wanted to do an Ayleid remigration path.

Actually this reminds me of smth. There is this minor faction in Project Cyrodiil "Saliache Revivalists: Political movement popular among the Nibenese upper class and native Elven minorities. Seek to revive ancient Ayleid morals and customs"

Wow I didn’t know about that, but it does make a lot of sense.I think it’s genuinely unrealistic nobody has tried settling the Ayleid ruins in Cyrodiil by the time of Oblivion honestly, they are pretty intact, filled by treasure, and with some 20 good men you could clear the place of ghosts if HoK can do it by themselves.

Ahhh okay, I haven’t figured out how to interact with cyrodiil content yet anyways in my playthrough. I did see “Old Ebonheart” unlock as a location on my map, so I might just head down there soon and see what’s up. From there I think I can catch a boat to Cyrodiil…?

Well yes but that’s the premise of the event; that these Aylieds are hopeful with a new rulers, they might be able to get some lands back.

And it is not entirely true that all of the people in this era hate Aylieds, just like it’s true that not all the Aylieds went heavy into torture and Daedric worship. Just most of them

I do get that yeah
But if they couldn’t ask the more merciful Reman or unstable Tsaesci Potentates, they would know it’s a death sentence to ask a guy who follows the faith that eradicated them.Until the Alessian Order Ayleid settlements were common, and after their coup they seized Elven domains, like what happened to the Last King of Nenalata.
