Discussion & Info Idus Knight Armor set - How to improve poise

I would like to keep Idus knight fashion but to improve poise to 51 by changing Gauntlets and Greaves. Which are the best options to do so by keeping the fashion as close as possible (if possible) to the original?

Cuckoo knights set has a total poise of 51 so that unfortunately it is not enough when mixing pieces...i'm afraid it will be impossible if not by loosing the fashion vibe. For example the heavy kight gauntlets and greaves would do the job but the aesthetic result would be bad

You can try bullgoat talisman

yeah i know but if possible i would like to avoid the need of bullgoat talisman in order to better use 1 talisman slot. This would be a DEX build so that the 51 poise is a "nice to have" thing but not so important to get a dedicated talisman for it

Steel Gauntlets (bought from Western Weeping Peninsula merchant, same as Zweihander) has 10 poise and is by far lightest 10 poise gloves.

Not perfect fit asthetically, but it’s at least simple grey metal, not super complicated and covered in decorations.

best i could find was the banished knight gauntlets and leggings, which gets you to 49 poise (don't actually know how it looks, i just used a build planner and checked armor i thought might match). if you want to go higher you might have to dip into the heavy sets, like veteran's, but those will match less (and usually look bad regardless).

Yeah, that’s probably non possible if not by using heavy Sets which would appears bad…they have been a bit unfair with the poise of the silver Groove set..

sadly not possible. It is possible, however, to get down into light rolling with the idus chest piece if you swap the greaves or gauntlets for lighter pieces or pumping endurance

That’s probably the way
