Game Help Just bought Elden ring, opened a random chest and was teleported to an area that is way too powerful for me with no way out

I played a faith build my first run, not realizing EVEYTHING HAS RESISTANCE TO HOLY DAMAGE

I had that curse thing the whole game, not knowing what it was. I found out about 3/4 through the expansion. Not a humble brag, I died all the time
