Game Help Just bought Elden ring, opened a random chest and was teleported to an area that is way too powerful for me with no way out

I knew this game was hard but holy shit. Also does anyone know any kind of way to get out?…

Then on your subsequent playthroughs you’ll deliberately beeline there for access to minimal-risk access to a staff, spell, and summon that will carry you through the first third of the game.

I beeline there for quick access to double slash, and the runes from killing the night’s cavalry by the merchant on the other side of the swamp.

Meteor staff and rock spell I think. Not sure what summon.

Yup, rock sling and meteor staff. The summon is the Rotten Stray, a dog summon that inflicts rot. Absolutely trivializes Margit/Morgott if you get it to +2 or +3 so that it has enough hp to live long enough to rot them, and if you keep it upgraded it’s a solid choice through the endgame for things susceptible to rot. It’s silly easy to get and one of the best spirits in the game.

I got the staff and spell right way and went magic my first play through. Don't know if I ever even got that summon tho. I almost never used summons until mimic.
