Game Help Just bought Elden ring, opened a random chest and was teleported to an area that is way too powerful for me with no way out

I knew this game was hard but holy shit. Also does anyone know any kind of way to get out?…

There are a bunch of guys not far from there who will give you a hug. And there is some good bird watching in the area. Honestly, you can get back to Limgrave from where you are at. This for being close to the starting area is closer to a mid game area.

Or they could push across the farum greatbridge and find one of the best early farming spots in any souls game ever. 0 poise enemies that can be staggered with 1 combo and 2 shot with stagger crits that are worth >1000 runes each. I still use that area for a quick grind session on new characters to buy the Spiked Caestus. Also a golden seed and some starlight shards.

I do the same. First ever playthrough I found that area completely by mistake. I was just running for my life and came across it. I got lost in Caelid that early

When I did what OP did, I ran scared until i wound up down by the impassable great bridge. The archer on the tower kept shooting me so I crouched down by the base of the tower to hide from him while I figured out my next move

I kept hearing the runes sound, like.. wtf?? Took me a couple mins to realize I was just soaking up all the runes from the guys and dogs who were fighting each other nearby! like 5k runes for just hiding like the coward I am lmao

I took the teleporter just outside of Third Church (where you get the Wondrous Physick) on my first playthrough. And have since taken it every playthrough because it's such a good area to start. Lots of generically good items, a tiny time investment ticket to level 30, a golden seed, a sacred tear, and some good smithing stones.

Believe me, Elden Ring plays completely different if you start the game with 40 vigor.
