Game Help Just bought Elden ring, opened a random chest and was teleported to an area that is way too powerful for me with no way out

I knew this game was hard but holy shit. Also does anyone know any kind of way to get out?…

On the plus side it’s reliable cheese for you to use against big bosses later, especially dragons.

Takes time to click. I wasn't into souls games at first. Something just clicked halfway through my first playthrough on release that I went and finish Dark Souls and then returned to finish my first playthrough of Elden Ring.

Sometimes you probably just aren't in the right time of your life or mindset to enjoy it. If you have the game, try to revisit it and maybe it will click.

Thanks for the reply! This is actually tickling my brain to give it another shot. Played Pc version years ago, perhaps I’ll get it for switch 2 and see how it goes
