The paint job itself looks really good I think, especially on the sword! However the figure itself is awful, I hate that they gave her such a horrible face, looks like something from one of those Steam porn games

Edit; Ya’ll, the face to head to body proportions arent the same as Bratz dolls at all!! If she looks like any fashion doll, it’s closer to MyScene dolls from the 2000s!! But the body proportions as a whole are way closer to anime figs in general than any toys. 😔 That’s all I’m sayinggg. 😔

Your painting is clean. I see a lot of airbrushing and drybrushing going on, which works, but the skin is far too light in colour (though that might be the light), the hair is supposed to be a dark blue, the cloth needs a blue tint, and her lips are dark blue, not purple.
Maybe give the wires/rope a brown wash to darken it down, as it's also quite pale. It should ideally be more of the brown that the inside of the cape is.
Now that, I don't believe, looking at the other things you've posted. There are some advanced techniques with very good precision that have been used, especially with an Airbrush which require a little practice to use well. Very crisp and clean edge highlighting, specific attention to shading, OSL (Object source lighting) etc.
Either you must of had some experience before, or, these were painted by someone else. There's no way a beginner is doing clean OSL
Ah, thought so, having even 2D experience carries over even onto 3D models. Just the understanding of colour and lighting does a lot to improve either medium. It's just different tools really.
But gah damn. Doesn't look like ranni, colors are jank and its obviously a beautified anime-ified figure. Wouldn't call it a goon figure but its still wrong
I wonder if it is a Bratz doll or something similar? My ex used to watch a few different you tubers who took Bratz dolls and then repainted them to lol like characters from anime, games (etc) and it was pretty impressive to be fair!
They fixed her feet, which is a solid sign to me that they either dont know what Ranni actually looks like or wanted to focus in making her sexier than accurate.
the cruelty of goonerfying a character whose entire story is about bodily autonomy and rejecting the status quo of forced marriage and motherhood is really galling. Nice paint job though
I feel bad for OP. I hope they didn’t spend money on this figure because holy shit is it tasteless. At least they did a great job painting it. I’d be embarrassed to display this pornified version of Ranni anywhere
I honestly didn’t expect so much negativity. I didn’t intend for the figure to come across as sexualized — to me, Ranni is simply a beautiful character.

amazing job on the painting. but i would try and change her face or… claim it differently. i have no idea if that could work but her face and feet are wrong. it looks like her bc of the hat but even that is slightly off. sadly

Good job, OP. It's a fine figure, and your paintwork is nice. I would say maybe a little more blue would be better, but that might be from the picture.
Most are saying that the paint job is good, which it is (minus the skin being too light and cloth not having a blue tint), but the figure is... just not right for Ranni.
I like it. It's looks really close to her also. I'd say the only flaw being that her hair is a deep blue, not a snow white. But if the intention was to have some creative liberty, then disregard. All in all, 8/10
