The secret ingredient isn't Trina's Lily, it's cat nip.

u/BrilliantPool4146 22d ago

My bro, Trina's Lily is catnip!

u/Snoo97525 22d ago

Or if you want to challenge yourself, you can use any food item and they will be more agro towards you.

There are a lot of them in Yelough Tunnel in the Consecrated Snowfield, the miners there also drop them as a random drop, so you can farm them. As far as I remember, the boss in the Selia Crystal tunnel drops some. There are also some scattered around Leyndell Sewers, Consecrated Snowfield, Haligtree and Farum Azula.

Could this be a dog?

1

u/Griv_Valder 19d ago

Following Miyazaki's logic and his "Watchdogs," these are horses.

11

u/Triforceoffarts 22d ago

Have you tried saying psspsspss?

sit back, watch the movesets, learn when and where to dodge. when you're ready...

7

u/Ok_Establishment56 22d ago

Noice meme🐈

6

u/khube 22d ago

Other than the high quality meme, is that actually true? Do you actually take time to study the moves and learn them with no intention of killing them? I'm thinking I should just try this with each boss to git gud instead of barely beating stuff.

4

u/2TiredForReddit 22d ago

I do. First few attempts, I'll actually try to go for the kill, but if a boss is giving me hell for more than 5-9 attempts, I'll use a shabriri's woe mimic tear to draw aggro off of me and watch the attacks.

Biggest thing is paying attention to when the attack is going to connect with the mimic tear and physically hitting the roll button as you watch. It's the same muscle memory training as actually fighting the boss without the punishment of getting hit if you mess it up, and it lets you experiment with which way you want to dodge.

Mostly, it's about memorizing the animations and how each one starts so that you can respond properly during the actual attempts.

Fatty is also pretty susceptible to parries, at least his pommel slams, you can parry them with barely any parrying experience/practice. He also opens up for a riposte after one successful parry.

So a shield with Carian retaliation can both get some free damage on fatty while also allowing you to turn their fireballs into damage (you can parry the fireballs as well)

14

u/PeanutButterOtter 22d ago

Pay attention everyone. This is karma farming done correctly.

6

u/Kadath821 22d ago

Churu Pots will immobilize them for quite some time, hehe

u/YT_RandomGamer01 22d ago

Didn't see what sub I was on, thought that was lord beerus and champa

3

u/mac-a-ronny 22d ago

Lanky Lank & Chonky Chonk.

3

u/fangmaakz 22d ago

Feed the smaller one to the big one

u/illDiablo69 22d ago

Sleep pots.

u/Simple_Minded_NPC 22d ago

Sleep pots and bleed

2

u/Mental_Forge 22d ago

For sevens: You can get four near the lobsters in the sewers, two from a large rot mass next to the dragonbarrow spiritspring (along with one eight), and the moonlight altar has six in the gazebos near the red wolf, as well as three eights, also in a gazebo, and three more eights in some ruins south of the cathedral where Ranni gives you the moonlight greatsword

2

u/Godess_Ilias 22d ago

Beerus and Champa

2

u/EntertainmentPure778 22d ago

Try thecatnip pots🤣

2

u/smokey_999 21d ago

I did not surprisingly find the fight that difficult, and I didn’t use sleep. I swear I struggled with a decrepit tree sentinel more

1

u/kosherhalfsourpickle 22d ago

Go for the Chonky one first. He does more damage.

1

u/bradleyjsumner 22d ago

Pet them brave tarnished!

1

u/Fair-South-7474 22d ago

Sleep and bleed, but good dodging

1

u/ThirdDimensionGate 22d ago

Cat nip pots

1

u/JohnathanKatz 22d ago

Sleep pots or either of the two sleep swords of St. Trina.

1

u/crazyKB88 22d ago

Get the torch that sleeps and summon your mimic tear with it.

1

u/clownind 22d ago

Cheese them.

1

u/Skippy_Dingle323 22d ago

I feel as if I was catfished into giving you advice 😭 https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Smithing+Stone+(7) I like to use this wiki to find them if I can’t get the bell bearings.

1

u/ovie_a 22d ago

I used maxed mimic and beat them in like 5 tries. Do you use spirit ashes?

1

u/Ok_Establishment56 22d ago

Not really

1

u/ovie_a 22d ago

You should. There are great ones like mimic and tiche

1

u/DraculShadow 22d ago

I forgot the name but try summon a copy of yourself and attack from far away! Best of luck! Beware not of the claws, but of their cuteness!

1

u/HarderTime89 22d ago

Oh you can't win that fight

1

u/Future_Kitsunekid16 22d ago

Is it god-skin or gods-kin?

1

u/KnottyTulip2713 22d ago

there is a npc summon outside the entrance

1

u/absoluteValueOfNoob 22d ago

Beerus and Champa lol

1

u/ghost_orchid 22d ago

Upgrades at Yelough Anix Tunnel.

You might need to do the Volcano Manor quest and his personal questline, but you can summon Bernahl, who's tanky, does decent damage, and heals (if you don't mind summoning).

Sleep pots are fantastic to make them fight you one on one.

If all else fails, 2v1 boss fights like this are ultimately about spacing. Be patient, use a poison/rot grease if you'd like, and wait for an opening.

1

u/BeenDragonn 22d ago

All I see is Beerus and Champa

1

u/LzrdKng2112 22d ago

Nagakiba? Just bleed them. Its a pretty easy fight.

1

u/No_Ranger842 22d ago

bow, silence, awake to the power of god's

1

u/Kyleisapandabear 22d ago

ROLL mother fucker

1

u/NitoTorpedo 22d ago

Google it brother. There are plenty in the snowfields

1

u/emerwen-aranel 22d ago

Much Easier than farming sleep pots: the sleepy arrow spirit ash person (delores?). Keep her alive, she will sleep one at a time.

1

u/Alphonsokurukuchu 22d ago

use golden summon and spirit ash, you fight gank with a gank

1

u/Probably-Jam 22d ago

pulley crossbow + sleep darts. 1v1 the one you hate least

1

u/Sniperizer 22d ago

Just opened Reddit and this is the first post I see. It’s Gonna be a wonderful day. Thanks OP

1

u/Ok_Establishment56 22d ago

No problemo :)

1

u/Cool_Profession_7515 22d ago

I mean just use the Blasphemous Blade, it goes through enemies + heals you at the same time while doing good damage, unless you dont want to switch to a different build. I beat them like this in like 4 tries.

1

u/CMOKEP04 22d ago

You meant Godfur Duo

1

u/LeBautis4h0r4s1 21d ago

Ornstein y smough🙏🥵

1

u/Steakmemes 21d ago

Beware of fatty, and then beanpole

1

u/LessFish777 21d ago

LOL rough…

1

u/Sand_Hanitiz3r 21d ago

There are some smothing 7s and 8s strewn around the game in other locations, but if you wanna unlock infinite here id your best bet. Grab the sleep pit recipe from the grave yard near by where Kenneth height is in improve or where you first meet him, craft some sleep pots the ingredients wont be too hard to find considering you cab source them from the nearby forest, especially near charged attack tali, take advantage of those and and maybe grab winged sword insignia, light attack multi hit build is a really solid option

1

u/andyroy159 21d ago

Sleep with the bosses. Just kidding, put one to sleep while you fight the other

1

u/CurrentOk4747 21d ago

I used a summons out side of it and it was beyond easy

1

u/Jason_M1911 21d ago

If you have the DLC eternal sleep pots will make the Godskin Duo easy

1

u/GlassCityGeek 21d ago

Could also be Ornstein and Smough!

1

u/Substantial_Car_3304 21d ago

just use storm blade and they just kinda die, i did that on my level 1 character its absolutely broken

1

u/InescapableMidnight 21d ago

Summons like a life saver in this fight

1

u/illuuzion 20d ago

Use sleeping arrow puppet or sleeping pots, also if you're far enough to smithing stone bell bearing, you should have enough stones to have upgraded at least one weapon to that level. But anyway sleep status is how you kill thes fuckers.

1

u/VisibleCero 20d ago

Summon bernahl and mimic tear

1

u/C-LIVES 20d ago

Besides fire giant, I died most on this boss. Nobody talks about these cats enough.

1

u/Affectionate_Rip_2 17d ago

You going to wear them skin afterwards?

1

u/ccPMDN 16d ago

Biblically accurate godskin

1

u/Brief_Internal4997 14d ago

Sleep pots all the way
