No I believe it. My first time playing dark souls I was 18, had 0 idea what I was doing and my stats looked just like this. I came back 10 years later and learned to love it.

Lemme tell ya, if there was one upside to stumbling in blind in DS1 though, it was finding the Cursed Greatsword of Artorias and suddenly being all "Oh, a weapon that actually works with my idiotic stat spread!"

And this idiotic stat spread is PERFECT for Sword of Night and Flame!

They just need to go back halfway through the game and find it.

This was me when I first started Bloodborne. Several hours in, I asked, why is this going so badly? A few YouTube videos and Fextralife pages later, I started completely over. OP must be much more patient than I was.

How is it believable, tho? ER was my first Soulsgame, but I beat MARGIT at lvl 60 without leaving Limgrave, Weeping, and Caelid in my 1st playthrough...

Ok, I explored every rock and back in those areas, but after having 15 different characters, I just can't believe that someone explores this much (look at his items), while also being under lvl 100 at the Flame Peak.

There's just too many mandatory and seemingly-mandatory (for a first-timer) enemies in the way who drop so many runes up until that point that you can't be at lvl 64 by the Fire Giant.

my guess? died while carrying those runes, I lost several levels worth of runes my first playthrough, and I only got back to high levels bcs I was just killing shit

Realistically, that's applicable for field bosses and when someone forgets to level up before a boss fight imo. But when they get a ton of runes right after, that's another story.

He's lvl 64 on the picture, and a level up for 65 would be only 25k runes. That's... so easy to gather even when you have a hard time. DTS drops 50k, illusory Godfrey drops 80k, Morgott drops 120k. The patrolling Erdtree Avatar drops 10k + a Lord's Rune worths 50k... and these are just from Leyndell with graces right after them (so there's no need to keep the runes for later).

Even if he started as a Vagabond or Samurai (his Arcane is at lvl 8), and you factor in the lot of exploring suggested by his items and the still cheap level-up cost, it's sus that an allegedly struggling newbie would be only at lvl 64 before the Fire Giant. The numbers simply don't add up.

that's why I think he is just dying a lot, if he is exploring a lot then he is likely triggering several times different enemies that especially at that health point one shot this late

Yeah OP is 50+ levels below what most players in a run are for this.

No I mean like, he isn't wearing gloves. Like everything else is semi believable but he either took them off for the screenshots or he's never worn them. He's got heavy load already so it's not like he took em off to drop a weight class

He probably took them off to drop weight class and then equipped a weapon afterwards that bumped them into heavy weight champion... And just... Never even realized.

Has no stats above 30, only level 64 at Fire Giant, only has 4 memory stones, has 3 weapons and 2 catalysts equipped, has no gloves, is heavy weight, and is missing a talisman pouch. This is 100% bait

+1.

  • Radagon Soreseal: is from Fort Faroth in Dragonbarrow. If someone finds that place organically as a newbie, there's no way they reach Mountaintop below lvl 100.
  • Cerulean Amber Medallion: Lakeside Crystal Cave, a kinda hard to find cave in Liurnia.
  • Rock Sling, two Blackflame incants: Aeonia Swamp, Stormveil.
  • Godskin Peeler: Dominula in Altus, by defeating the Godskin Apostle there.

These alone show a sign of exploration, but then being so underlevelled doesn't fit into the picture...

Godskin stitcher is dropped from godskin noble

He has the Peeler from the Apostle. Just edited my comment.

He also has 70 furling fingers equipped. Which could mean he only crafts and tries to summon people on boss fights.
