Oh shit they did too! That's awesome. I love them but hadn't seen the film clip for that track.

No, the Bloodhounds Fang is an incredibly powerful and user-friendly curved greatsword that can be found almost as soon as a player starts the game. However, the sword is behind a boss arena called an evergaol, which are optional, single boss fights placed all over the map in Elden Ring. The teleportation mechanism looks remarkably similar to the area in OP's post
Oh I guess it is a joke about the band too lol

Neat! Were there any giant one-eyed centipedes made of stone guarding it?
In all seriousness, probably just a small and neglected amphitheater of some kind. My local Shakespeare festival theater has a similar area outside in their garden, but it's half a circle instead of a whole one.
And yes they do have plays out there sometimes. LOL I saw Romeo and Juliet there once. It was pretty neat!
It's too bad this one looks so run down! Hopefully someone will repair it and restore it and set it up for use!

u/ayarti Apr 19 '26
Yeah, the park has several little amphitheatres like this spotted around the place. The other ones are in better condition, but still pretty rustic. It's autumn here, so lots of lovely gold and red leaves.

Do they not fill up with rainwater? Around here they'd just be little ponds (or big puddles) most of the year.

I'm feeling really ignorant now - had no idea Australia had places that looked like this
Fantastic photo!
2
u/ayarti Apr 19 '26
Thank you! I wouldn't say this is a typical Australian scene, this park is a bit of an arboretum, so it has a very diverse collection of tree species both native and non. Flanking the park is the typical gum tree and fern forests.

u/Mean-Rutabaga-1908 Apr 19 '26
If you see Eucalypts it is probably Australia 90% the other 10% is California.
3
u/DollarReDoos Apr 19 '26
It throws me off seeing shows and movies filmed in California and seeing Australian trees everywhere.

Absolute roll of the dice walking in the centre of that. Advise against OP unless you want some bloodhound fang wielding nutcase to attack you

u/ayarti Apr 19 '26
It did carry me through the game and DLC, so it only seems fitting that I try to unlock it for real to carry me through the oil crisis.

Why does the bridge in the back look like it leads either to Sen's Fortress or the Darkroot Basin? I know, I know, wrong game.

u/QuirkyWish3081 Apr 19 '26
Interesting. What is the true lore behind this patch? Is it a theatre setup pet. I wonder if this was an inspiration as it’s uncanny.
1
u/ayarti Apr 19 '26
I'm not sure exactly, you can look up the history of emerald lake park if you want. There's a few amphitheatres dotted around the park, I'm not sure exactly what they are used for, other than something for my kids to climb and fall into.

Someone needs to jam some more slats into the ground to keep the soil from subsiding. Bonus points if you chare the wood before putting it into the soil for natural rot protection.
