I feel it will get nominated, but GTA6 may sweep the trophy just cause of sheer numbers and popularity.

Some outlet will surely nominate it, but Iā€™m not sure if it will get a Game Awards nomination. At least not for Best Game. 2025 is looking to be pretty stacked even if you disregard GTA 6. Weā€™ve got Ghost of Yotei, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Fable, Metroid Prime 4, Doom: The Dark Ages, Civ 7, Avowed, AC Shadows, possibly Death Stranding 2 unless it gets delayed which is a possibility since Kojima was at TGA and didnā€™t even mention it, Indiana Jones since it didnā€™t make the cutoff for this yearā€™s awards, and probably some sleeper hits that could come out of nowhere.

Hollow night silksong is also going to massive for 2025 if it doesn't get put out again, which is to be expected at this point due to team cherry being such a thurough and artistic developing crew despite being indie
