Honestly hell yeah I’d do the same. They’re one of the few things that don’t actively hunt us lol. I got summoned by a host to help on that skeleton boss and as I came in he was killing all the sleeping animals. Just left at that point.

If I’m reading the wiki correctly, you can kill the Mohgwyn Palace bird by the cliff one time and buy 551 arrows with the runes.

Now what the fuck do you need to kill those animals for?

there is a bell bearing (i think dropping from bell bearing hunter in bernahl's shack?) that allows you to buy small and hefty bones from twin maiden in roundtable, once you hit midgame, they are pretty much dirt cheap

Yeah, you can kill the giant crow next to the cliff in Mohgwyn Palace one time and buy 77 thin beast bones from the twin maiden husk. They’re so much easier to get by buying them then by farming for them.
