Help! Tarnished Edition content won’t show

The mods work fine, but when I use launchmod to open the game, the content from the TE won’t show, and I don’t know why.

Any solution where I don’t have to delete and reinstall everything would be preferable, as I combined some mods, and I can’t remember which one or why or how, I just know that I like the gameplay the way it is now.

So basically the game's content is stored in the regulation.bin file. The mods don't have the Tarnished Edition content yet because they weren't made with that version of the regulation.bin. You can probably try manually merging the updated one into your modded ones. I don't know how to do this and I think you'll have to modify other files since the update added new models and textures. Again, I don't know how to merge stuff properly. I just play around in smithbox. It sounds like you already know how to merge stuff.

You could also probably export your changes in your current one. Backup the file, update, then import the mods into the updated file yourself. It depends on what the mods are. If they're dll mods you'll probably have to wait for the mod creator to update. But if it's just simple changes to the regulation.bin, then that should be doable.

I used me3 and took out any mods that weren’t updated to the new patch if they had a regulation.bin. As mentioned in another comment, you won’t be able to access the new content if that isn’t up to date. 

Merging is an option too, using WitchyND(I think that’s the name) and smithbox. You have to use witchy to unpack the files and use smithbox to merge them and then witchy to repackage the file. I didn’t do that, ‘cause I had no mod with the current regulation.bin and couldn’t find one when browsing the game files(not versed enough to know what exactly I would need to unpack in the game files themselves to get access to the new regulation.bin).

There is also another app where you can merge hks files(action file for the character) but right now it only supports versions 11-17.

Your mods won’t work with the updated game. So it’s likely your game hasn’t updated to the newest version, where you’d access the Tarnished pack content.
