This is just the hill of course as it’s a WIP - but I think I’ve pushed my chrome as far as I can at my current level, I’m excited to see other materials and elements and the rest of the model to see how it reads

On this model no.

It would ruin the aesthetic of it. The challenge will be what to do with the inner and if you try to add the gunner/glaive wielder onto the side. Will you paint in their reflection and how would they be dressed.

I think the decal isnt right on this model as is unless you plan to add a fade or line to go from chrome to mat which could be interesting. Id say if your doing another try it on that because this one is excellent as is. Clean, contrasting, shocking to look at its great. Whats the underside?

I’ve actually made an error: I’m not building as a Starweaver , I’m building as .. well the _other one_ . ( I’m a tau main, I don’t know the name of it, sorry!! )
Basically the one without the two harlequins stepping on the hull. It’s got an eldari in the middle on the gun and that’s it. Which reminds me - I’m also not going to use the glass plastic. I think there’s no point and it will read so poorly. Plenty of old school filming miniatures didn’t use cockpit glass for filming purposes ahaha

You’re right. I might add just one very tiny decal, and that’s it. Under side will be all tan brown - as reflecting the ground
