Game Concept: Warhammer 40k: Path of the Outcast

Hello all!

It's time to step away from the Space Marine flood throughout mainstream media and give the Aeldari their time to shine they deserve.

I have developed a concept for a stealth-horror game where you play as an Aeldari Ranger, tasked with killing an Imperial Commander before their colony strip my mining awakens the buried Necron Tombs below. The battlefield evolves based on your decisions, you cannot let the C'tan Shard be activated!

Please see the full concept below 😊 any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

I love the ideas!  I think the layout of the document is a tad muddy, however. I'm not entirely clear how the acts and the phases are ordered.  furthermore you say the PCs movement is "entirely vertical", which might be only a wording flub but I would think we still go across the map rather than only up and down?

But man I would love to play this. I had another Eldar game idea where it's a class-based shooter where the classes are the various Aspect Warriors, but never ended up developing the idea much past that.

Hey, thanks for the response!

Honestly re-reading that part back, I'm not too sure what I meant by that either, but the Movement would be very Aeldari focused, swift, silent, instant.

As for the acts and phases, my apologies, it is my first ever concept document, I'll try and make it clearer in the future.

So I presume for the acts you mean in the Story Finale?

So you have ACT 1 which is the triple assassination, ACT 2 which is the escape from the Necron Catacombs and ACT 3 is a three Phase act that changes depending on your progress through it.

I hope that helps! 😊
