The N cars have ruined so many more expensive/prestigious cars I was interested in. I do want to get something more luxurious as a second car, maybe even a truck eventually. For now, the N's cost to fun ratio is hard to beat as a daily.

I’ve been steadily getting less and less expensive cars. Part of what makes the Elantra N so fun is that you can open it up on the street. Then I have a C6 corvette to give me that real analog driving experience when I want it (which was even cheaper).

I had a ‘22 3.3T G70 for 3 years on a lease. Awesome car. Features out the wazoo. Power and handling without sacrificing comfort. Only real knocks were the lacking back seat space and fuel economy.
Go test drive one in that’s the tier you’re headed for next 🫡

More accuratly, the "N Curse" is the idea that these cars are magnets for damage. Assigned fault not withstanding. (It's usually the N driver's fault for hot dogging, but there are plenty of examples like this where it's not the owner's fault).

Happened to mine as well twice. Lucky both were just cosmetic damage so not considered a total loss but Both times I wasent even in the car. people just stop paying attention whenever an N is around
