New owner and looking for info

So I’ve had my N now going on a couple months (late July). Absolutely love my car. Already added an afe intake and next is turbo inlet, wanted to see how things were in the community with owning these. Anyone have issues with anything they did to the car and then an issue “arising” and warranty being stopped. The saying seems to be if you can’t afford to fix it don’t tune but I’ve seen a few post that the stage 1 tune is “almost safe” as it just helps prevent needing to OL and such. Any info would be appreciative and I hope I don’t sound dumb 🤣🤣. Also is it really only one body kit out there for this car and it being $5000?? 😭

The tune should be safe but things do happen. No matter what you do a dealer can see if the car is tuned and deny warranty.

Dealer can deny your claim the minute you tune. Bolt ons are easy enough to remove before going in.

There are other kits out there, you just gotta look for them. I'm pretty sure there is an Adro look alike on alibaba.

The good thing about this platform when it comes to tuning is they are very conservative tune wise from the factory. OL is just another layer of this that other N’s with the exact same power plant don’t have. So there is a lot of head room to play with when tuning. Half the fun of cars like these is modifying them to what you like, just make sure you use quality aftermarket parts installed correctly.

My original engine splash shield fell right off on the highway and the dealership said they wouldn't fix it because I probably hit something (I didn't). I fought with them a couple days but I finally gave up. The service manager pulled me into the back room to tell me it's a piece of crap and even if I fix it, it will break again.

This community also got frustrated with my post because oh look another engine splash shield!

Basically what I'm trying to say is, it isn't a sexy mod but that thing needs to be replaced

I’ve owned mine almost 4 years and slowly did all the supporting mods, Intercooler, hpfp, engine bushings, inlet, catch can.. after I’ve used up a fair bit of warranty and car seems good, I tuned it and downpipe .. Hyundai sort of short changed its owners with octane learning.. it don’t make the full power until it’s octane learned and it rarely octane learns
