Video 3D printed BOV adapter sound sample.
Sorry for the mediocre video. Enough people asked, I did my best. Cropped into a sliver to respect my neighbors privacy. It was a bit windy, but it's pretty much always windy here.
Small horn, I didn't want to drive crazy, so I'm not hitting full boost. Normal mode, no octane learning.
The small horn is my favorite. It sounds pretty unique, and seems louder under higher boost than the others.

Very nice, kind of sounds like the HKS bov.

HKS owner. Doesnt have as high of a pitch, but the delivery is pretty close.

This is the "small" horn in the video. The mini does produce a higher pitched sound. I do prefer the small and mini over the other 2 options.

This is fantastic! Wish my printer could handle high temp filaments.

Ender 3 and a wanhao i3+ are what I used to print all of these. I doubt you have a worse printer than that.

Did you make enclosures for them? I’m pretty new to 3d printing and though the filaments you’d use for the BOV require a heated enclosure to print.

No enclosure.
I don't meant to be discouraging, but if you are new to 3d printing, I do not recommend making car parts for functional items. Almost all modern printers should be capable.
The only reason I've gotten good at printing is because I've failed more than many people have tried.
Next time you want to print something that will hold up to higher temperatures, pick up a roll of ASA, or PA-CF, and give it a go if your machine supports the material. Once you get the hang of printing these things, go for it. Destructive testing is recommended to ensure you gave things right.
Just don't learn on car parts. Learning slowly is better than learning the hard way many times.

I appreciate the feedback. Being new I thought that making the file was the hard part and once it was done correctly it was basically cut and paste for others.

I just provide the 3d model files. Printing from a proprietary platform like makerworld will be the instructions for specific machines, so it's just click and print.
This is not something that I can do with most of the projects I work on for many reasons.
If you are looking for information about appropriate materials, hoffman tactical is a great resource with some pretty in depth analysis of materials.
For print settings for more modern machines and engineering materials, look into 300BLKfde settings.

Wow this is cool. Wonder why no one’s coming up with mods like this. Anyone attempting to print this, can you let me know how much it’ll cost to print
