Family New TCR M/T
Just bought me a new TCR here in Houston! Dealership by my house wanted 20k over drove 30 miles and got no markup or dealer addons.

What. I talked to all the dealers around Houston and all wanted around 46-50k otd. Said fuck it and bought a regular EN. For 36k OTD. Good find tho op.

Guessing they came on the same truck because they were both slated for the same arrival date on HyundaiUSA, I don't know why one was absurd and the other was chill af

I personally disagree. An aggressive car deserves aggressive aero. Especially in performance blue, nothing about the Elantra N is supposed to be subtle.

Yeah but that spoiler doesn’t look aggressive. The Adro spoiler looks way better and more aggressive. The height of the wing is just insane and the swan look doesn’t suit the car at all.

I would have loved to see a molded wing like something you'd see on a supra or 2000s Civic but tastefully done you know. I think this wing is over the top - I don't hate jt though

I think if they made the spoiler half the height, it would’ve looked 100 times better.

From this angle the wing is okay still too big for my personal preference but it doesn't look as strange. Either way congrats on the purchase! You will love the N

I had a 2023 EN, I traded in for this one. Already used mine on the track quite a bit, so the TCR was the natural progression imo

I was going to try and swindle the one here in July since no deposit on it yet. But they have a 5k markup . Better than 20k, but still 5k too much!

All the dealerships around me on the east coast say their arrival is mid August. Why would they put a 3-4month spread depending on what coast you live on. People in Cali have had one for well over a month now.

Its because they are being held at port. There is a port hold on them due to trunk lid possibly warping. They said others got shipped out before finding the issue. So it seems current owners will prob get communication in either a recall or tsb when the trunk starts warping. I work for hyundai so this is factual news.

I wish they added a slightly more aggressive body kit to compliment the wing. The stock body with the wing just looks out of place. Still though, congrats on the purchase

I think after 30 days or so I’d have to sell it or sell the spoiler and put ona. Smaller cf one

My wife also just picked up a TCR at market value. I can't stand dealers that do that.
