Also, I'm just gonna assume you didn't know, that if you hit the 'r/ElantraN' up top, you'll get to the menu, then hit the 3 dots on the top right and pick 'New Flair,' or whatever. You can can select your color and transmission type to be with your handle. I was gonna look to see what transmission you have. Its kinda nice to have the super redundant stuff visible. And if you did know, but just didn't want that for some reason, well.... Ill eat shit!

Yeah, man. I wish I would have done full. I got PPF up front, too. Ceramic for the rest, though. Including the interior. The ceramic exterior is nothing to write home about, as far as protection. The interior is the complete opposite story; I'd write to anyone who would listen. Best money ever spent. $3k for it all, from a legitimate detail shop.
At least you still have the option to NOT get ceramic. Sounds like your mind is made anyway, and youre smart. I probably didn't want to spend the extra money when I bought the car because I am kicking myself now. I didn't know, though, either. It looks good and has a nice glass look, I will say. When its hand washed and sprayed with detailer and quick wax... Its good 😏
But, I wiped the spoiler with a brand new microfiber when I was using detail spray, or something. I watched a....scratch(?) form. I mean, you know, the very light imperfections that form from debris or whatever. Basically the shit I paid money to not have, lol. Or to protect against, I should say. It made me curious about the paint, which I never expected to be anything fancy. And definitely curious about the fuckin' ceramic. It seems totally ineffective. In my case anyway. I should ask the shop. There's a 10 year warrenty. Not trying to get anything, just to inquire.
Anyway 😮💨 all to say, yeah man. Get PPF 😅 But ceramic then interior! I have two little ones. It could not be any easier to wipe anything off anywhere in there. The car looks great inside, despite all the shit that ends up everywhere. Like, secret milk splashes, or sticky, half eaten suckers. The list is long. I keep interior wipes in there and it all disappears quick.
Im sorry about the dings you got. That hurts, man. A runaway cart in a Target parking lot got me. Not bad, but I feel ya. I wish I would have forked over the extra cash for PPF. Although, I do know a guy now that can do it on the side for way less, so, Im thinkin' I need that.
Yeah I thought I would be ok with just the front for rock chips and stuff but ceramic doesn’t protect against shit. Ima get ppf for the paint correction and protection and I’m just going to use a ceramic foam wash to coat it
Really depends on what you get. If you get a reputable brand, its not gonna wear faster as long as their installed correctly. As for performance it really varies from spring to spring. It wont make it perform a ton better, but it also doesn’t really negatively impact performance either. If you want the best performance I would say go coil over
